Bay Holiday Retreat offers a pet-friendly accommodation in the small town of Port MacDonnell. Located close to the golf course and a short stroll to the town centre and beach, we have everything you need for a home away from home with a fully fenced in yard with off street parking. Extra beds at an extra expense. 3rd annex room with the queen bed is only available if discussed prior to arriving. As there is only one shower & one toilet, not recommended more than 6 people staying at one time.

The Beach Shack

The Beach Shack is absolute beach frontage. A 1970's beach shack with all the basics and more. The stocked Kitchen/lounge & main bedroom have sea views. Compact Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed for children. Bathroom accessed from 2nd Bedroom. All linen supplied. Coffee machine, microwave, airfryer. It has a cosy family feel, sit back, relax and enjoy the view. Rate is for 2 adults and children stay free. Pet friendly for a small fee. There is a new fully enclosed/fenced dog yard, enter from back gate.

Rose Cottage

A unique cottage set in a beautiful country garden, inside is all completely modern. Bedroom one queen bed also has a wall Smart TV with Netflix. Bedroom two has a bunk with queen size mattress below and comfortable pillow top mattress on the single above, please see photos. The living area includes full kitchen, coffee machine large smart TV with Netflix, views over farm. Huge balcony, outdoor furniture, egg chair, blankets and pillow for comfort, BBQ 5 mins from major shopping centre

Lucy’s Cottage Self Catered Accommodation

One bedroom, fully self contained cottage, set in a rural location in Moorak, only 8 kilometres south of the city of Mount Gambier, and just minutes from the coastal town of Port Macdonnell. A charming, heritage listed property situated in the heart of Penola. Built by Alexander Cameron in 1869, it is within walking distance to the Main Street of Penola, giving easy access to restaurants, hotels, cafes and the historical Petticoat Lane. The cottage backs onto a family friendly town square, playground and public pool with plenty of room for your children to play. Dogs are welcome - larger dog owners please note that the fence is only 90cm high.

Stunning views and beach access at your front door. Pets Welcome. There is a Studio at the rear of the property that is listed separately which is great to combine for larger groups. Both listing are private, fully self contained and only share the driveway.

You will be able to see kangaroos feeding at dawn & dusk and in winter the local reserve fills with water creating a lake for all the local bird life.
