The Aspen Room is a cabin type guest house (with room dividers for blocking off the bunk beds and double bed) that is 8 miles from Mt. Rushmore, close to Custer State Park and located at the Double Diamond Ranch. It can sleep up to 6 with a queen, double bed, and set of bunk beds, a fully furnished kitchen, satellite tv, fireplace, central A/C, wifi, cell phone service, hot tub, grill, propane fire pit, and beautiful views with lots of wildlife and the horses that roam just below the deck.

This is the original carriage house from 1892 that has been converted into living quarters with a small fenced in outdoor space. The cozy cottage is made up of two levels. On the floor level, is a small kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area with gas fire place (love seat pulls out to a single bed). On the second level, via a narrow steep hayloft staircase, is a king bed, tv, and private balcony. This quaint space is the perfect get away.
