Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

Pittenweem boasts the last working fishing harbour in the East Neuk with it's famous 117 mile long coastal path passing right through the village . Our peaceful cottage is located at the bottom of our garden, reached by a private lane less than 200 yards from the centre of Haddington. Haddington is a historic market town 20 miles east of Edinburgh and has good public transport to the city. Located in East Lothian and 20 minutes drive to the many beaches and golf courses. There are several restaurants, pubs and coffee shops within an easy stroll. The cottage is self-contained with private parking in a relaxed, quiet setting.

We sit directly on the river bank and walkway to Haddington and East Linton and a bus link directly into Edinburgh in 45 mins. We are around 15mins drive to the coast and North Berwick.
