Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!

The Guest House Japan Asama was produced by the team used to work for a well known airline marketing team. The main concepts of the stay are "nature", "specious" and "hospitality". Guests can enjoy natural private onsens in the large size villa located in the national park. The private villa has 2 floors and each floor has over 120 square meters. The highlights of the villa are stone bath at inside of the villa and cypress bath at outside. Enjoy our natural onsen at both inside and outside!

Seven bedrooms, two large bathrooms each with 7 semi-private shower stalls and a shared family-sized tub big enough for the kids to pile into together, a proper chef's kitchen and a recreation hall with table tennis, kids' play area, piano, guitar, and board games.
