My auntie was a noted “Shamisen” guitar player and she appeared in many movies and TV dramas. Now her home and its rooms, where she practiced her “Shamisen”, have been converted for a comfortable stay.

The Machiya Inn「Crimson」has been converted into the licensed accommodation, which can accommodate up to 4 people. We rent a house out to only one group at a time. The nearest station is 10 minutes walk from JR Enmachi Station, 1 minute walk from the Kyoto Municipal Bus Taishogun bus stop, located in Taishogun. Since it is a 100-year-old townhouse, the rooms themselves are aging and have been slightly renovated, but from the outside it looks like a traditional townhouse, but the inside has not been renovated like a hotel. Katsura Club is a traditional Kyoto townhouse that has not been renovated much and remains in its original condition.
