Great location, great people, everything was what we expected

Lucy's house is in a wonderful place and provides everything you need. We loved hanging out on the porch and walking to the little town,the Mangrove boardwalk and the dog beach. I highly recommend her place and Urunga for a relaxing vacation with or without a dog.

We stayed overnight to break up our trip to the Gold Coast, and this place was perfect—close to the M1, cosy, and comfortable. It was cold and rainy outside, but the house was warm, with plenty of blankets and pillows on the bed. We woke up early to a beautiful surprise: plenty of kangaroos just outside! A lovely and peaceful stopover.

Place was great, had everything we needed for a family holiday. Very special sitting on that deck watching the waves roll in. Quick access down to the beach for a surf or a fish. Thanks again.

We’re two families from the Gold Coast who were looking for a peaceful getaway for a few days, away from Tropical Cyclone Alfred 2025. We were excited to find a relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy some quality time together. The house had everything a family needs, it was clean, safe, close to a playground and coffee shop and a lovely area to walk around with friendly neighbors. Garry was a great host with clear instructions on everything and he was very kind and quick to respond.

Ruth’s cosy house provided a relaxing stay. The proximity to the surf club and beach are a drawcard. We appreciated having condiments and starters in the cupboards on arrivals. Comfortable beds and furniture and great communication. We hope for a return stay.

we had a great stay at this holiday house! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the ocean, and the view from the house is absolutely beautiful. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay by the sea.

Denise and Brett’s place was exactly what we were after! Fantastic spot for peace and quiet to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The sauna and cold pool is a fantastic add too. Denise and Brett were awesome - gave us privacy but always on hand to help if we needed something. Thanks guys!

My husband and I stayed in Studio 2 for three nights and loved it! The studio was even better in person. Cliff greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. He had the air conditioning on for us because it was hot outside. I had chosen studio 2 because it has a cooktop to cook our meals, an oven and a regular size refrigerator. It also had pots, pans, a rice cooker, plates, bowls, glasses, cups and cutlery, dishwashing liquid, etc. I had hoped to use the gravity water purifier on the bench top, but it took way too long for the water to filter through so we ended up buying water from Stuarts Point Grocery Store which was fine. We enjoyed eating our meals outside. The bed was very comfy. We slept with the window above the bed open to feel the lovely breeze in at night. It was very private, peaceful and quiet. The only noises heard were the rooster, the peacocks and other birds. We greatly enjoyed the heated pool and walking around the property surrounded by the rainforest. We love it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Nature I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yarralen Retreat in Yarrahapinni, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway immersed in nature, this place is a must-visit. Hosts Julie and Cliff are incredible people—they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and attended to all my requests immediately. Their hospitality made my stay even more special. During my visit, I experienced heavy rainfall, which only added to the serene The rainforest is teeming with peacocks, including a rare white peacock, and I was lucky to see a few peachicks as well. One of the highlights is the picturesque pond, covered entirely with lotus flowers, and a short boardwalk over the water—such a tranquil spot! There's also a yoga deck, where Julie holds yoga sessions every morning at 8:00 AM. I didn’t get a chance to join, but it’s a wonderful addition for those looking to practice mindfulness in a natural setting

We had a lovely stay at Alfred’s and Monica’s. Walking distance to North Valla Beach and very peaceful stay. Perfect for exploring Valla and surrounding areas like Bellingen, Nambucca and Urunga. Alfred and Monica were very responsive and kindly unlocked the door when we had a late night check in to save us from fumbling in the dark. Thanks again! 🙏

We enjoyed our stay at Doris’ place. The house was well equipped with everything you need. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. The pool was great. The house is in a good spot, a couple of minutes drive from everything you need. It felt like a quiet and peaceful part of town. If we head back to Nambucca Heads, we’d definitely stay again.

Julie’s property is an amazing and beautiful place that captures and celebrates the natural surroundings. We enjoyed the walks through the rainforest and around the billabong…just a few steps away from our accommodation. The accommodation was very well presented, easy to access, peaceful and perfect for our short stay. Close enough to the beach and coast, but far enough to feel removed from it all. We loved it and would highly recommend

Always happy to stay somewhere that is familiar for our aging puppas. It's also nice to have everything you might need a home - from strainers, coffee plungers to potato mashers and plenty of baking dishes (although some had been previously put away still needing a wee bit more cleaning me thinks). The home is perfectly located, and every possible small thing from coffee, tea, tomato sauce & salt/pepper just makes arriving and staying here so easy. We really appreciate the size of the rooms and comfort - also love the really secure new side fence. Many thanks for having us.

We had a wonderful stay at Val’s place! She was incredibly warm and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The guesthouse had everything we needed, with thoughtful touches throughout. Our two miniature dachshunds loved it and slept so well! Val went above and beyond, even helping us with local info on Easter Sunday and giving us a lovely tour of the outdoor area. It’s a peaceful, cozy spot – we truly appreciated Val’s hospitality and would love to stay again - Thank you, Val. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house for our family holiday in a perfect location, close to everything. The kids loved the kids room!

The farm was really gorgeous, very easy to find with clear instructions provided. The Space was decorated beautifully, Marni greeted us upon arrival and was so kind and friendly to us and our dogs. She provided extra towels and was very welcoming. The nights were so peaceful and you can see all the stars out. We really enjoyed the time we spent here. The bed was also extremely comfortable! Thanks for everything! :)

They were very accommodating, friendly and easy to work out details as we were renting a bit late and from out of the country.

Would highly recommend. Central, convenient location on a quiet street. Ticked all our boxes for a long weekend stay outside the hustle and bustle of Coffs Harbour. We will mostly likely be back very soon!
