The place was great! Location off the beaten path bit exactly what we were looking for, pristine countryside view, footpaths nearby, and a wonderful little farmhouse setting. It was just perfect. Michele and her husband were lovely and extremely responsive. Will go back to stay there in the near future. Loved the tranquility.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is in a beautiful location, it felt remote yet was a walkable distance from the local village. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were helpful and responsive.

This was a beautiful place to stay. We instantly felt at home when we walked through the front door. The place has everything you need and feels spacious. There is plenty of storage for clothes and hangers which is lovely. Emma is so helpful. I asked a few questions before my stay and she was so helpful and quick to get back to me. Emma is very honest on the listing about the road traffic noise which we found very helpful. We knew what to expect. It might be helpful to know that the traffic is a mixture of cars and HGVs and that it does continue in the night although with less frequency. But it doesn’t detract from what is a beautiful home and a very peaceful stay!!

Four of us stayed, two couples and a dog. The accommodation was excellent, very clean with everything we needed for our stay. The view from the livingroom was fantastic.

The check in was really smooth with the option for parking as well proved really easy and accessible especially in the city centre. The apartment was really clean had fantastic views sat on the 8th floor and is a great location for any business or leisurely visits within Sheffield, would highly recommend to anyone! Kenny was great throughout helped with any queries and a quality host, look forward to returning

What a wonderful weekend we had! I celebrated my 60th birthday there. A charming Barn with lots of character. Lovely & welcoming with a special cake and birthday decorations. Treats & a bed for the dog too! All my family thoroughly enjoyed it! Lolly, the facilities manager, was really friendly and helpful before we arrived and available all weekend with any issues we had that were resolved so quickly. Thank you Lolly! A wonderful place for a weekend of hiking. Excellent local pubs/cafes for food. Parking at the accommodation was very convenient. Property itself was more beautiful than in the photos, highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. We felt at home in the cottage and had a lovely relaxing time for oursleves and my brother and law and his wife. Everything we wanted was to hand, we cooked one night and went to the Cheshire Cheese pub (only a couple of minutes walk away) for a great meal on the second night. Communication with Chris was great ahead of our visit and we saw him for a chat while we were there, a great friendly host. Despite poor weather we still got a good walk on the hills. We're so happy and relaxed after a lovely weekend and thoroughly recommend The Oaks / Barn at Mead Farm. Noel.
