The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious, gourmet free breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

The jewel of 215 Washington oozes ‘Santa Fe modern.’ The “Pippa” is a one of a kind space and guests are raving about the beds, linens, and coffee options. We have remodeled two single-story historic homes into several patio rooms with thick adobe walls. hand-hewn vigas, custom Talavera tiles and saltillo tiled floors. Most of the patio rooms have enclosed private outdoor patios however, rooms 15, 16 and 17 share a larger outdoor courtyard. If you require a private patio please let us know. Our patio rooms are available with King, Queen or 2 Queen-sized beds and have microwaves, refrigerators, free coffee, and guest robes.

2nd floor rooms with A/C & a balcony overlooking the train yard and mountains. This is the closest accommodations to the train yard in town, walk right down to the station. It is also walkable to most of the restaurants in town as well. Our rooms have an old west feel with all of the modern conveniences of the present with high quality furniture, artwork, and linens. The large bathrooms feature detailed tile adding a luxurious touch as well.

This room has one bedroom with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa, a separate kitchen and dining area, and a flat-screen 32in TV. This room is on the first floor. Alpine Lodge no longer allows trailers on property, that includes loading and unloading trailers. Any guests traveling with trailers must use Red River's public parking areas for parking, loading, and unloading vehicles from trailers.

The Carriage House building has been carefully restored into two suites of the inn. This listing is for our largest and most upscale room, a spacious 600-square-foot suite.
