We've recently converted it to a self-contained dwelling, so we can share what we love about the city. This is a studio unit under our house with own access from street. There is no outdoor space. Comfortable queen bed, electric blankets. The couch is not a bed. Washing machine/dryer, and washing powder supplies. Kitchen has hot plates, microwave and small bench top oven. Fridge and freezer. Sky TV. Open robe for storage. Ensuite has toilet, basin, shower, no bath. Unit is stylish and well designed, and in great condition. There is space for a SMALL car to park directly outside.

The Barracks

WELCOME TO THE BARRACKS THE OLD MT COOK POLICE STATION We hope you will love staying in this historic building just as much as we do. The Barracks was the original Mt Cook police station, built in 1894. It has a lot of history and we are very proud to be the caretakers of this property.
