Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben - sehr ruhige und entspannte Gegend mitten in der Natur. Die Ausstattung war mehr als gut. Alle Küchenutensilien die man sich nur vorstellen kann, waren vorhanden. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich. Eine Antwort kam zeitnah. Unsere Privatsphäre wurde sehr respektvoll behandelt. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

We loved our stay here! I Everything was in great condition. The area is a little desolate, but there is a small grocery store and restaurant nearby. We used the included passes to visit the local pool, which was very refreshing! We didn't use the washing machine, but it was a little different in style compared to others we used in the country. It was right on the ring road, but very few cars came by while we stayed there, so it was pretty quiet. Overall very comfortable and just what we needed!

Die Lage des Cottage ist schön ruhig mit einem tollen Ausblick auf die Berge und das Meer. Húsavík ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Cottage ist gemütlich ohne viel Schnick Schnack. Man kann dort super abschalten. Das Cottage ist mit allen notwendigen Sachen ausgestattet und so wie im Inserat beschrieben. Wir haben es sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Wir waren zu viert unterwegs und waren zwei Nächte dort. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Der Besitzer zeigte uns zu Anfang den Whirlpool und auch als wir später eine Rückfrage hatten hat er uns weitergeholfen. Die Unterkunft mit dem Ausblick ist wahnsinnig schön und würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen!

The house was great - extremely well located to see all that is available in Myvatn and well equipped. We were easily able to cook in the kitchen and although the house was small, there was plenty of room for our group of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens). Our only complaint was that the lights outside of the house couldn't be shut off. They were on a timer and stayed on from 6 pm to 6 am. They shone in all the windows all night, requiring us to use the blackout shades, and made it difficult to see and photograph the northern lights, which were fantastic while we were there. We had to go down the road to take photos. Consider this if you are looking for isolation and darkness - the home is located super close to attractions, yet far from everything, except it's own light pollution.

This little cottage was one of the highlights of our trip in Iceland! It was so warm and cozy and included anything that you might need. The location is amazing and as we visited during March, the lake was frozen and the surroundings were full of snow! We really felt like home there and wish that we can visit one more time in the future.
