We had a great stay at John's place. We were working in the area and it was perfect for us. Comfortable beds and everything you need.

The flat was really comfortable and a lovely space to unwind. It’s surprisingly spacious, and having the TV to ourselves was a bonus. There’s also a good parking spot, which made things even easier. The apartment was spotless, and the bed and bedding were fresh and super comfy. We were really happy with the location and are already hoping to book again.

Great apartment - modern, comfortable and central

This is self-contained first-floor apartment, finished to high standard, and well fitted out with everything you’d need for a stay here. Alan and Carole are lovely people, helpful and caring, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Great place to stay, Sarah and Paul were both very friendly. The space was clean and tidy, there is a private garden to sit in and Sherwood forest is only 15 minutes walk away. There are good local amenities and there is off road parking.

A fabulous apartment spotless, great to have off road parking right outside entrance. Host was brilliant and provided guidance on getting around the area. Neighbourhood excellent lovely and quiet. Great stay will use again. Would I recommend…yes absolutely.

Had a really good time staying at Stephan’s place. He was super quick to respond to any messages, which made everything easy. The flat was clean and matched the listing. Check-in was smooth — the directions were clear (my bad for not reading them properly at first!). The location is great, really close to the city and a popular coffee spot. With such a short notice Kiran responded to our request quickly. Information on given how to get there, sat nav will not take you direct to the property, and what was available in the local area was very useful. The accommodation was as described and extremely well presented. The whole flat was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. Matlock Bath and the area has lots to offer, to stay here with a beautiful view from the window is worth while. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Kiran.

Karl communicated well before our arrival and gave clear instructions about how to find the place. Check in was comprehensive with lots of tips for local things to do, places to eat and drink etc. Karl is super dog-friendly and our dog was made to feel very welcome - she loved the loan of the dog bed! Karl’s place is beautiful, homely and we were encouraged to explore his collections of books, games and so on. He’s thought of everything in terms of amenities, and we had an amazing, relaxing and straightforward stay. Buxton is lovely, with lots of great pubs and bars, and the property is right by the beautiful Pavilion Gardens (where the parkrun is, if you’re a runner!).

We had a lovely stay at this property! We booked extremely last minute due to other accommodation falling through and were pleasently surprised by how modern, clean, and comfortable the flat was. I would definitely book again.

a lovely place to stay, perfect for 1 person (though would fit two people). the host very kindly messaged prior to mention they supplied milk, butter + bread, noticed I was vegan and provided alternatives! there was tea + coffee provided, plus lots of seasonings and condiments in the cupboards should you need. comfortable bed, clean + tidy space and perfect for a 3 day trip. would definitely recommend :)

Great location for the Peak District! Lovely accommodation. Tony was incredibly responsive, gave good instructions on how to arrive and was helpful whenever I contacted him, you can tell a lot of thought has gone in to the space. The shower was lovely and powerful. Something that was really appreciated after the long walks. Bed was really comfortable and seemed much larger than a queen size bed, sheets were lovely and clean. Appreciated having a parking place so close to where we were staying. Views across to the reservoir were amazing, we took a walk across the road to it and they were lovely, beautiful nature walk along the reservoir just across the road. Peaks cavern only 40 minutes away and the b29 crash sight parking only a 15minute drive away. Would recommend this stay and will definitely be returning.

This was a beautiful place to stay. Anthony the host was friendly and helpful and came to greet us upon arrival. The apartment was delightful and the kids especially loved the mezzanine bedroom - a really exciting treat. We felt right at home and can't wait to come and visit again. 100% recommend this place for both couples and families with one or two children between the ages of 6-14.

Garden Retreat is a lovely ground floor apartment with direct access to a lovely garden. The property was spotlessly clean with lots of additional touches such as phone chargers and torch. It was actually larger than I expected. It was comfortable with everything I could need and more. A large kitchen, comfortable lounge and quiet bedroom. The shower is blissful! Jonathan is lovely, welcoming but also respectful of privacy. There if needed. It’s about a 25 minute easy walk into Belper with its shops and eateries. Lots of great walks from the apartment and Belper. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit with my two dogs. I do hope I can visit again.

Beryl was a wonderful host! We stayed for 1 night as a quick stopover on a long journey and Beryl was very accommodating. Even though we booked with very short notice the space was immaculate so we could tell Beryl had very high standards. Everything was spotlessly clean and as described. We had a great nights sleep and the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Even though we didn’t have the opportunity to use it due to our fleeting visit, the patio seating area was really nice and no doubt a great place to enjoy the countryside air. I would highly recommend Beryl’s place.

Had a lovely time staying at Marcus’s flat in central Buxton - super communicative and helpful and the flat was cosy, clean and very modern. Would v much recommend for any couples looking to explore the Peak District for a weekend

We really enjoyed our stay here. Gareth was so welcoming and friendly. His place was clean and stylish with everything we needed for our weekend. There is a lovely outdoor space with beautiful views of the surroundings. We appreciated the ample parking. It is in walking distance to local activities like Go Ape, and also into Buxton itself, where there are lots of nice places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to visit Buxton.

Great cosy basement room - everything spotless. Really easy to checkin in - lots of clear instructions. 5 minute (uphill!) walk to a lively parade of bars restaurants and shops. A lovely stay.

Excellent and very clean accommodation. Easy to walk to the centre of town in 20 mins. The kitchen was very well equipped. This is an excellent accommodation and many thanks to Ashleigh for making us welcome.
