Sit in the private, sunny garden area and take in the magnificent views over the ancient CoquetValley. Explore beautiful beaches, historic castles and wonderful countryside and end the day by a log-burning stove in the lounge. During the summer months enjoy a glass of wine or a BBQ in the pretty cottage garden. Our comfortable converted barn is the perfect base to explore the coast and countryside of Northumberland. Comfortable and stylish living room/kitchen with working log burner. (photos were taken before the flue was fitted) Well equipped kitchen area with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and granite work surfaces. Lovely kingsized bedroom, oak flooring, quality linen and towels supplied with complimentary toiletries . Pretty country style bathroom with bath and shower over. Children are very welcome and we can supply a cot (no linen) and a high chair for babies, a z- bed with linen for older children is available at no extra charge. There is a very comfortable sofa bed with a pocket sprung mattress in the living area which will sleep 2 adults for the odd night or a short break. One well behaved dog welcome £10 extra charge Guests have their own private garden and west facing seating area and access to plenty of parking. There is also an extra lawned area separate from the owners garden if they wish to use it for BBQ or children playing Free membership for 4 guests (adults or children) at the nearby Linden Hall Hotel for the spa and leisure club is available for guests during their stay. There is a swimming pool, sauna, a small gym and hot tub and there are often some discounts on spa treatments. There is also a golf club but this is not included in the membership and green fees apply. We want our guests to have their privacy but are friendly and welcoming and happy to help and provide information during their stay. Swallowtails barn is in a farming hamlet outside the pretty village of Longframlington. There are lovely country walks on the doorstep Take an easy stroll to reach good pubs serving food an award-winning grocery shop, artisan bakery and coffee shop. Then drive along pretty winding lanes to explore the beautiful beaches and villages on the Northumberland coast. Visit historic castles at Alnwick and Bamburgh or spend a day at nearby Cragside Hall and gardens Excellent butchers also in village There is plenty of parking on site. It is an easy walk to the village, taking about 15 minutes and there is a local taxi available operated by one of the neighbours which can be very useful. Regular buses run to Alnwick and Morpeth There is a mainline station at Alnmouth approx 10 -15 mins drive Swallowtails is adjoining the owners property but has its own separate entrance garden and seating area. Silver Fox Barn is a stone barn conversion in the hamlet of Hetton Hall, near Chatton, which we fell in love with and fully refurbished in 2015. If you want peace and quiet, fresh country air, and an abundance of wildlife, this is for you. Warm and cosy, with beamed ceilings and a log fire, the Barn is furnished with hand-crafted furniture by Indigo, comfy modern sofas, and finishing touches of local and historical interest. Ground floor - Entrance hall with cloaks and WC. Snug room with TV, DVD and games. Farmhouse style kitchen with pine table, range cooker with electric oven and gas hob, combi microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and French doors opening out to the enclosed front garden and patio area. Lounge with wood burning stove, TV with Freeview, DVD and arch over patio doors leading to the rear enclosed garden. First floor - Bedroom 1 with a Super king-size bed, en-suite shower room, heated towel rail and WC, and walk-in dressing room. Bedroom 2 with a Super king-size bed. Bedroom 3 with Twin beds. Brilliant for walkers and cyclists (Sandstone Way cycle route) and a great base for exploring wonderful Northumberland. Located within the "International Dark Sky Park" it is a fantastic place to stargaze, with specialist equipment provided.

Situated in woodland and fields is a small c18th farm with a beautiful light open-plan Cottage and spectacular views of National Trust Gibside and the Column to Liberty. Wild swimming, cycling and endless walks lie just beyond its gate. One of five dwellings, the Cottage has a private entrance and exclusive use of a small south-facing garden. Night skies are spectacular and often punctuated with calling owls and the rustle of hedgehogs & badgers. Bird spotting and fishing is another delight.

The cottage is on a working farm within easy reach of Morpeth, a busy market town 5 miles south. The towns of Alnwick ( the castle having featured in the Harry Potter film) and Rothbury are also 20 min away and well worth a visit. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.

Whiteside Farm Granary - Hot tub - Dog friendly

Newly converted Granary to go with our other larger holiday cottage on our working farm. located for exploring Hadrians Wall or for taking a break on a long journey. There is one bedroom upstairs with a en-suite and a king bed. There is also a futon bed located in the bedroom but only limited seating if more than 2 or 3 guests are staying. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony or a soak in the hot tub, and watch the sun rise in the east. Cottage is small but cosy. Dogs are most welcome.

Lovingly converted, pet friendly barn set on a working farm with fantastic views across the Rede valley. Open plan living/kitchen area with log burning stove and flooded with natural light. Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.
