The cottage is annexed to the main house and has been modernised to a high standard: immaculately finished with the hosts having thought of everything to ensure a trouble free and comfortable stay. There are plentiful walks from the cottage but you can just as easily sit in the garden and watch the abundance of visiting wildlife . It is set in a peaceful hamlet within easy reach, by car, of hills, coast and heathland. Perfect for an active or relaxing break. The hosts are friendly and responsive and the welcoming milk, scones, jam and wine on arrival, much appreciated. Thank you.

My husband and I felt immediately at home in this warm and welcoming space, with its easy check-in and adorable décor. Everything was immaculate, and we had all we needed for the most wonderful stay. The local eggs were especially welcome, and we loved the photos of the family pets on the wall and in the welcome pack! We could see sheep grazing happily from the patio window, across a gorgeous garden filled with spring flowers, and the sense of peace and tranquillity made Adrienne’s place really special. Adrienne was absolutely lovely – so friendly and helpful, making us feel so welcome in her beautiful Bothy, and we’re so grateful for such a restorative stay in such a glorious part of the country!

Great stay here. Location is perfect, the are apartment was exactly as described, clean and with everything needed for a great stay. Would absolutely recommend for anyone to stay here.

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

It would be difficult to describe this cottage. It is simply stunning. From stepping out of the car to the fragrance in the garden to the bird song in the trees, it is beautiful. The private garden and woodland are just lovely and were fantastic for our little dogs. The cottage has everything you could think of. It is warm and cosy and the log burner is lovely. We travel to the Borders to visit friends and we all made use of the BBQ and games room. We absolutely loved it. The table tennis is great fun and the games room as a whole offers something a little bit special. This is our favourite cottage in 30 years of visiting the area. The kitchen is well equipped and the welcome gifts are a really thoughtful touch. The beds are really comfortable, the showers are great and you could not feel more at home. Lowri is lovely as a host and could not be more helpful. We booked to come back on day one!

We had a fabby stay, 3 large double bedrooms were perfect for our group of 5 adults. Had loads of space and felt very comfy throughout. Would defo come back and spend longer in the house!

Lovely house in a good location. Art House is well equipped and beautifully furnished. Fi was an excellent and friendly host - we bumped into each other on arrival as her parents and their gorgeous dogs live next door. 20 minute walk into Seahouses (Indian brassiere and Lewis’ chippie both good) and short drives to all the other excitement on the coast. Highly Recommended.

The cottage is beautiful, peacefully located in the farm yet very easily approachable. It has everything you'll need for your stay. Best part of the cottage is many windows, the are numerous windows and each one is giving beautiful view of outside farm, courtyard or sky. Rach is lovely and very helpful, would definitely recommend this to everyone.

We had a wonderful week in Woodpecker cottage. The whole family - grandma through to toddler loved the cottage, immediate location - gardens, fire area, viewing platform, chickens and wild birds, and Northumberland with it's beaches and castles. The cottage was bigger than expected. Harvest is a wonderful host, friendly, very approachable and wanting to help. Thank you!
