Cons: Took some time figuring out the wifi network to get logged on. Poor cell service in silver lake/mears but once connected to the house wifi, cell service was fine. There was no light out back to help with getting to the bonfire once dark outside. Hot tub water was more dirty than clean. Limited food options at the stores in town. Pros: Amazing house and very clean, nice beds... so much space for our group of 15. The back deck was where we spent most of our time. The creek out back was beautiful. The beach and lighthouse were just a few minute drive down the street. Great location, all in all made for a great family vacation.

Lori was always so responsive to our messages. And when we had a small issue, she sent someone over right away to help us. Very helpful! Thank you Lori!

Amazing location, incredible home! A few things broken or not working in the home. A few lights, one of the toilets didn't flush, a shower door didn't fully close. Recommendations would be more bright lighting in the basement as well as a nice table to sit and play games at (for the adults while the kids are swimming). All in all, it was an amazing stay and definitely a place we'd come back to! Beautiful views out of every window. The library was a favorite! Great place for kids. Lots of areas for hide and seek and many places for activities. They loved the pool, hot tub, and "tree house" (as they called it..the top room with the winding staircase) the most! Also we lovvvved the dunes and walks on the beach! A true hidden gem of a location!

Peaceful and quiet place. Lots of things to do for kids. Will definitely come back again next year.

I recently stayed at this charming cabin in Walkerville, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cabin is nestled in a serene, picturesque setting, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The interior is cozy and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay.

Marissa’s place was amazing. Excellent location and beautiful layout, even the doors in the home were a fun experience. I was able to run by Bass Lake and Lake Michigan on the same run. The home itself was private, a great setting for using the outdoor firepit or relaxing in the hot tub. We had a lot of little kids with us so the toy box, high chair and extra portable crib was a great touch. Everything was labeled and instructions were detailed on the fridge. One of the best places we have stayed.

Great little gem. Our family really enjoyed staying here. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped with everything. Host is super responsive. The cabin was clean and stocked. Definitely plan to come back in the summer to take advantage of all the amenities

Wonderful weekend stay! A little tricky finding it at first, but the cabin was beautiful. We had to do some searching for places to eat locally. Highly recommend Pizza Factory and Deb’s diner in Shelby! We will definitely be back
