My 100-year-old house has color and character, a wrap-around deck, views of water and Mt. Rainier, friendly neighbors, and lush landscape. UPDATE: The historic fireplace is now operational!! Just steps away from the water, the St. Clair Cottage provides beautiful views of Lake St. Clair. You will the love seclusion of nearly two acres of property surrounding the cottage. The perfect place to enjoy a sunny day on the lake or a cup of tea on a rainy day. With adult and kids kayaks, a rowboat, paddleboat, and canoe we have lots of options to get out and explore the lake. Or take a dip off the private dock when the weather is warm.

Our cottage has an open loft style floor plan. Spacious, quiet, and light filled. 1.5 baths and 2 stories. Modern and elegant finishes on everything. Main floor has 1/2 bath off kitchen, and there is a full bathroom with shower near the bed located upstairs. It is a stand alone “guest house” in the back yard of the main house. Private parking right in front of the front door! Yard has fire pit, outdoor furniture and BBQ. A hidden oasis, right in the middle of the Ballard neighborhood.

The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.
