The goats are the sweetest goats I’ve ever come in contact with. I grew up on a ranch, I’ve owned goats… These goats (and the kitty) are kid friendly. My son is terrified of cats, by the end of the stay he wanted to carry the cat home with us. We came for the animals and the outdoors experience which did not disappoint! We enjoyed every minute, especially the Bigfoot touches! Everything was perfect! Oh and don’t miss feeding the fish!! We loved that!

Great spot! Clean, comfortable and a cute little welcome dog the greeted us on arrival and said good morning the next day. ONLY con is that as a busy family who doesn’t know how long it’s going to actually take us to get places on road trips due to potty breaks etc I love when places have electronic locks so that no one else is waiting on us. I always feel bad when a host wants to greet us and I have to change the time and make them wait. Regardless, they were there to greet us when we finally made it with a welcome smile. Thanks!!

I love staying in The little Woods Cabin. Being so close to Mt Ida is such a plus. Dana has added some great outdoor patio lighting which has added to the cabin’s evening charm, and an updated mini-split has improved the heating and cooling of the cabin. The kitchen is not set up for cooking but it does have the basics. I highly recommend for a long weekend in the Ouachita mountains.

Staying here was an absolute joy for my wife and me! It was peaceful and the perfect place to relax by the water. The cabin was thoughtfully stocked with so many helpful items—pots and pans, charcoal, coffee, snacks, and other generous touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning to this beautiful cabin in the near future. Getting to see zebras and other exotic animals during our walk was an unforgettable experience! Gwen was also such a kind and welcoming host. All around, it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend it!

This was our first vacation as a family & we couldn’t have picked a better spot!! The cabin felt so homey & was just what we needed for a mini vacation! The cabin was clean, had such cool features/decor/details, & made the overall experience of Hot Springs amazing! We will def be back :)

We were only able to stay one night, so we were so glad that Doug’s cottage was available for a quick stay. The carriage house is unique in that they provide a mixed genre of books/games/spaces. They have truly thought of everything. If we are ever passing through Little Rock we would definitely stay here again.

I loved this cabin. It was secluded, quiet and so peaceful. The cabin was spacious for our group of 4. Meggan was responsive and friendly. We look forward to going back soon!

We loved our stay. It was great to unplug for the weekend. Of note: -The place looks just like the pictures. -Felt very private even with another house nearby. -The view was wonderful to wake up to every morning. -The bedroom is a loft upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs a spiral staircase. Because of this I would not recommend this unit for anyone with mobility issues or needing frequent middle of the night bathroom visits. -There is no WiFi service and depending on your cell provider you may not have much of a signal to cast to the TV. That was ok for us because we wanted to unplug.

Grants place was perfect . Very peaceful and quiet.

We were looking for the opposite of the typical bachelorette party weekend. Calm, relaxed, great time with people we love as a bridal party. This place was not only that, but so much more! The views of the creek and stream behind the home are peaceful, along with the large space downstairs to chat and play games. During our final night, severe weather came into the area with a tornado warning just south of us. Aaron and his wife kept an eye on the weather for us from another state and gave us clear instructions on where to take shelter if needed or where to hang out in the event the weather didn’t clear that evening! This was such a wonderful experience and I would recommend this family and home to anyone!! Thank you for making our weekend unforgettable!!

I booked the house boat for a surprise getaway for my husbands birthday and he was blown away! It was perfect in every way. Peaceful, felt secluded even though we were so close to anything we wanted to do. I will recommend the Little House on the River to all my friends.

Extremely relaxing, the hot tub was an amazing add to this bnb. The scenery when sunset and sunrises is one of the best things to enjoy watching outside. Love how cold the AC gets. 5 stars for me!

U e stayed at Michael’s places several times. They are clean, peaceful, and worth the price. Definitely the best deal in this part of Texas.

Would definitely book again! The space was small, but super nice and perfect for our little weekend get away. Host was great and very quick to respond. She gave us all the necessary information and I felt safer knowing that if I needed something, I could easily reach out to her.

Such a cute and cozy place to stay for our anniversary weekend trip! We enjoyed our stay very much. Samantha was also great in letting us know where to go (if needed) as we were under a Tornado Warning while staying at the cabin. It was overall a great experience!

Beautiful surroundings with an all the trees, and the cottage was just what we needed to rest, before we got started on our 9 state trip!

It was awful! The bed was too comfortable. The cabin was too clean and cozy. The place was too relaxing. It was terribly difficult to get any work done. The boss was not happy! If I don’t get fired……..I’ll be back!! Hehehe!

This was one of my favorite AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed at! The property is amazing with wonderful privacy for a getaway. I was so glad I was able to meet Deborah and her husband and even got to help feed the horse and donkey when I got in. They had numerous local recommendations for my road trip to Dallas. They also were so kind to give me a tour of the art studio plus a taste of some of their fresh honey ❤️. This place is really special and you can tell immediately that every piece of the experience and property were so well put together. I hope to be back one day to explore more of Caddo Valley.

My husband and I stayed at Mike and Becky's Mountainside Retreat for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. This property fit the bill perfectly! The setting was remote, the view was beautiful and the amenities were comfortable, thoughtful and modern. The firepit area was stocked with wood and fire starters, and we used it both nights! We went to the recommended Rich Mountain Country Store for breakfast - get the pancakes! Queen Wilhelmina State Park was extremely close and had nice hiking trails (some of them are currently closed for maintenance). We HIGHLY recommend staying here for a peaceful retreat!

Cute cabin with a fun beach theme. I really enjoyed my stay. The directions to the cabin were clear and helpful. The property and the road leading into it seemed well maintained. I brought a front wheel drive car on a rainy weekend and had no issues getting in and out of the cabin area.

Leslie was once again an amazing host!! I have stayed at Leslie's properties in the past and was hoping she could accommodate me in a last minute situation. I reached out and she was very responsive and helpful! Thanks for making sure I had a clean, cozy, safe place to stay!!!
