Fritz was very welcoming, friendly and communicative! He made us feel like family with how sincere he was and reaching out to check in if we needed anything. He also shared suggestions to places near by and restaurants we could check out as it was my Birthday trip-getaway! We have referred our family and friends to his cabin because it was a little piece of heaven. Away from the city life chaos. The icing on the cake was the private hot tub right outside the bedroom through a separate door. The perfect couples getaway! The host makes all the difference with Airbnb experiences. And Fitz was one of the best I have ever come across. He treats guests with respect and kindness! We will be going back in the fall for my husbands Birthday. :)

We really enjoyed our stay, will be booking again. Keep in mind that they have another set of same trio-cabin about 20 miles away. If you plan on booking all three together, communicate with the host clearly.

This place is more beautiful than the pictures show. You can hear the river, see the mountains, and feel completely comfortable & private. Highly recommend leaving all the blinds up and open to see wildlife while inside. It was amazing!

Ray is an amazing host. From the moment we booked he did not hesitate to reach out and explain everything that we could do in the area. He was super accommodating and responsive. The house and its views speak for itself. Would book again!

Just got home from our little get away. The cabin was wonderful! Had everything we wanted. The view waking up to from the bedroom window was breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you could need and the view from that huge picture window was beautiful! We enjoyed the large hot tub and made good use of the pool table. The weather wasn't the best and got a little chilly but the fireplace helped with that. This weekend was exactly what we needed....Beauty, relaxation and peace! Thanks Mark!

We loved our stay here. The house was the cleanest rental we've ever stayed at. The master bed was incredibly comfortable. My wife and i both said the sleeps during our stay here were heavenly. The hot tub was hot and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. The house had a great location for hiking in Shenandoah NP. Check in instructions were sent before arrival and crystal clear and easy to follow. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Viewpoint! The beautiful sign at the entrance made it easy to find and was a nice touch to our welcome. Upon our arrival, the cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Our girls loved the hot tub, pool table and ping pong table, and the trail down to the creek behind the cabin was an added bonus! It was extra special to be able to bring our dogs with us! It’s very convenient to Shenandoah NP. The hosts were incredibly kind, quick to respond and gracious — offering us a generously early check in! We will 100% be booking again!

Great spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. The cabin is cute and very private without feeling like it's totally in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful scenery all around. The hot tub with mountain views is the best part! And nice selection of games in the living room. Katrina sent clear instructions so checkin/arrival was a breeze, and I had no issues that needed addressing during my stay. A few things to be aware of: the beds are quite firm, and the couch is a firm leather couch, different from the one in the photos. The couch is very nice-looking but not the comfiest. Lastly, with fees and everything, this did feel like a splurge at around $330 a night, and we realized we probably could have found something similar at a lower price point. Still, it was a memorable trip and I'd recommend this place!

Perfect cabin in the middle of a 5 acre paradise. Nice and quiet, loved hearing the neighbors roosters in the morning! Great place for a getaway. Phone and internet service wasn’t the greatest if you had to make a call but a great way to unplug from our phones and connect to nature. Our 2 giant dogs loved the area to run around as well as the basement was nice and cool for them to sleep. They loved the place more than us we could tell. Would love to stay here again! Just need bug zappers at each door

This small country cabin was the perfect fit for two people ! We had peaceful breakfasts on the back porch, enjoyed watching the horses come and go, and it was in the middle of all the things we had planned to do. If you want a nice, quiet country stay, this is the place for you !

Amazing stay in the blue ridge area of western VA! A great spot to stay for hiking old rag mountain. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay from relaxing upstairs and in the hot tube to enjoying air hockey downstairs! Host were very responsive and gave a great list of recommendations in the area. I would 100% come back!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. It was perfect for our two dogs and their two humans. Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, relaxing back porch and fire pit, easy drive to Luray for food/drinks/supplies. Easy to get to from the DC/MD area. Would love to come back.

The digital guide they provided was outstanding—packed with helpful details that enhanced our stay. The property itself was fantastic. The rooms were not only comfortable but also spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The amazing supplies available mean you only need to bring your family, clothes and pups. I recommend checking the spice rack before heading to Food Lion—you likely won’t need much, as the kitchen is impressively stocked. The game room and hot tub were a huge hit with the teens, keeping them entertained for hours. The location was also ideal, with easy access to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. This stay had everything we needed and more. We’re so grateful for the seamless experience and would absolutely recommend it to others. Already looking forward to retur

My husband and I absolutely loved this home. It was a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Very private, serene and peaceful. The views of the mountain even from inside the house is breathtakingly beautiful. I ultimately loved hearing the sounds of the birds chirping in the morning. The tub was a very nice way to end the night after a long day of exploring the Shenandoah National Park. This place is everything you need to unwind. We would love to go back! The cabin was very clean and looked like how it was listed. It had a very nice, covered porch that wrapped around half the cabin. The hot tub was the main reason we rented this cabin. The hot tub was great, clean, and easily to get to from the house. The kitchen was great, and we did a lot of cooking in. It did have most things you needed, but I would suggest bringing cooking spray, foil, and plastic wrap if you plan on cooking. The only thing we didn't like was the bed was very firm, and we aren't firm bed people since we have some hip and back issues, so be aware of this if you are staying here and aren't firm bed people.

Booked this trip for a nice weekend getaway for just me and my husband. We LOVED the views and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the mountains. We did some exploring of downtown Luray and had a nice dinner at Chop House Bistro(amazing entrees). Take the owners recommendations and take a AWD or 4WD for the road to the cabin. We did and couldn't imagine not having it. We saw so many deer up the path to the cabin the night after dinner, it was beautiful! && the view from the cabin in the hot tub was AMAZING! We can't wait to bring our daughter with us next time to do some more exploring!

This was the first time using airbnb so I was a little nervous but the trip could not have gone better! If you’re looking for a private, peaceful getaway, could not recommend this place enough! The location was perfect, with plenty on nature based activities to do, and the property was just as described. The host had a printed copy of all rules/expectations and a list and a BUNCH of things to get into in the area, which made everything go so much smoother! Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend!!

The best way to review a stay is to say that you will return. I will definitely return to this cabin! I'll put it on my list of favorites.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great post Christmas trip to the region. We actually felt the photos didn't do it justice and it's a little cuter and nicer than we were expecting!

Exceeded my expectations! The cabin was so peaceful. It’s ideal if you’re wanting the real rustic cabin feel. No lights out at night, just the stars — it was a beautiful view from the porch. The host and team are really friendly and communicative! The cabin has board games, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of fire wood for the furnace or fire pit just outside the cabin. The ranch has some trails nearby too! We really enjoyed the skeet shooting and horse trail ride! A must-do if you’re staying! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Gabriela's property! The home was clean and looked just as pictured. The riverfront access was wonderful. We were able to do quite a bit of fishing from the bamk and enjoyed having the canoe available for use as well. It was a very peaceful stay. Neighbors aren't too far away but it was very quiet, and there is still great privacy. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
