We have created modern accommodation but kept the character of the barn with its original oak beams and stone. Centrally based for guests to visit the many medieval towns, markets, walks and attractions within the region.

Dating back to the 1700’s this servant’s cottage has been lovingly refurbished whilst still remaining true to its character with the addition of a modern compact but functional kitchenette it retains the original beams doors and fire place-plus a secret door to the servant staircase! This gite is tucked away right in the heart of this beautiful, rural, French village. A short 2 minute walk from the local bakery, butchers, supermarket, pharmacy, bank and bar/restaurant . A wonderful medieval property updated to the highest standards to meet modern needs set within Domfront castle town. Wake up to peace and quiet then take a stroll to the boulangerie for breakfast ,then perhaps later dine at one of the many friendly restaurants, cafes or bars. You will be delighted by the beautiful castle and stunning landscaped grounds that surround it .The area is very picturesque and full of charm and character. La maison d’Apolline est une petite demeure de charme située à Lassay les Châteaux, à 2 km du château de Lassay et à 15 km de Bagnoles de l'Orne Normandie (15 minutes en voiture). La maison est composée d'un rez de chaussée (entrée, mezzanine, salon, partie repas et cuisine) et d'un étage (chambre et salle de bains) entièrement équipés et proposant une connexion wifi gratuite. L'escalier métallique est central. La décoration est soignée. L'équipement est plutôt haut de gamme.

My secluded cottage lies in the countryside of Normandy on a completely private terrain of, 8000m2 with an own driveway. The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.
