We really enjoyed our stay although it was short we felt right at home! The host were great and we will definitely come back again!

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

Crab cake at restaurant across the street was great. The boutique store with all the cat themed items was fun. GIA distillery was a surprise fine - try the elderberry NA mocktail, or a flight of their distilled spirits. We stayed on Rebecca's 3rd floor and had great views out the windows.

Just great people . Always responded fast to anything. Locked myself out and they were there in no time. More than helpful. Highly recommend.

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

Great host, very friendly and helpful. I stayed here for a month was cleaned while staying there. No complaints would recommend.

We can’t say enough nice things about our stay. A definite gem of a find. Walkable to downtown, and a beautiful porch to relax on after a walk. The snacks provided were a nice touch. Plenty of coffee pods as well. Very clean and well maintained historic home. We will definitely return when we come back for more concerts at the Harvester.

Cynthia’s ABB was probably the cleanest, most comfortable, most enjoyable ABB experience we have had. She is a great communicator and she and her family are right downstairs in her Home Decorating shop. We stayed in the back unit which was very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. The cabin was lovely. It was serene and beautiful. Buffalo mountain is so beautiful. We got to see recently hatched goslings walking around the pond with their parents. The house itself was also really nice (nicer than the pictures), and there was so much sunlight. It’s a perfect place to disconnect and be in touch with nature. Chris was really nice. There was also a problem with the water filter (had stopped running for bit) before we came and Chris was very transparent with us and fixed the issue before we even arrived. Altogether a wonderful experience!

Gratitude View is an absolutely wonderful property -- the inside is beautifully and thoughtfully arranged with lovely furnishings and amenities. The hosts of this property thought of everything a guest might want. From fully-stocked coffee and tea bar, to games and puzzles and books, to throw blankets, to the clean and spacious layout, everything was there for a wonderful stay. And the view is spectacular. This is a really special spot and we give it our highest recommendation. In addition, the host was extremely communicative and accommodating, and gave us excellent local recommendations and was a delight to interact with. Having this house available at Thanksgiving was a highlight of the weekend. Thank you!

Great house, just like the listing. Very peaceful setting in a really quiet area, but still close to available amenities. The kitchen is the best equipped AirBnB I have ever stayed in. Overall a great place to stay, and Mike and Dora are excellent hosts.

This was the perfect little spot for our weekend. Close to the Parkway and several places to eat from fancy to low key within a few minutes. This is an older home that made me feel like I was at grandmas. I kept waiting to find something wrong but in the end will be going back for sure.

The views were spectacular, woke up at 6am one morning and you could hear the cows mooing about 3000 ft. down in the valley...very comfortable house...the one negative was no room darkening curtains and I am very light sensitive...we really didn't want to leave!!!...and Mt. Airy NC about 23 minutes away(Andy Griffithsbirthplace) was a step back in time...you feel like you're in Mayberry!......

The home was wonderful. The view is fabulous and the amenities were all that we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and there were great books and lots of games to keep us busy. We will definitely keep this home in mind for future trips.

Megan’s place was easy to find, and very clean. Location is great within a few miles of things to do and places to eat. She was very quick to respond. Would definitely recommend her place.

Our company is a contractor for the city of Martinsville and just to be minutes from the various departments was awesome. Even though it is uptown I felt really comfortable and safe. The apartment is amazing with its high ceilings and glass walls looking down to the street. Was able to walk to restaurants. I Travel allot and this was one of the comfortable beds I’ve slept on. I always got immediate responses and both owners were responsive. If you stay here, recommend you park your car across the street in front of the coffee shop. It is allowed from 6:00pm to 9:00am.

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the first time we visited SML. Our experience was great from our initial inquiry regarding boat launching, docking, and trailer storage at check-in to our departure 5 days later. Armand obtained the info and map links from the security office that we needed to launch the boat and store the trailer. which made it easy once we arrived. The view from the condo is beautiful any time of the day, but the view of the sunrise across the lake behind the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. If you have a boat, bring it, you can’t beat waking down to the dock on this water playground with marinas, restaurants, beaches, and shops to visit. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring.

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Our quick escape before picking our son up from NC State was relaxing and so enjoyable. Spent a lot of time out on the lake. Temperatures were warmer than the usual April weather, we both have great tans to prove it! We were very comfortable at your place. Perfectly located off of Scruggs gave us the ability to get to our favorite restaurants (Napolis is the best and only a quick walk away). New to us was Black water cafe, totally awesome! We will go there again when we return. We were able to spend time with family that have recently moved to the lake. Our little escape has re energized us, filled our hearts with joy and great memories on the lake. Your place had everything we needed. We were very comfortable. We enjoyed the decor, the layout, everything about your little slice of heaven on the lake. Who could ask for anything more. Thank you sincerely.

We had a great stay at this beautiful, cozy condo! The views of Smith Mountain Lake were gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking it all in. The option to choose between the screened-in and open patios was so nice to have. The condo was very clean, and the area around it is beautiful—perfect for a quiet getaway. Leslie and Craig were responsive and helpful, especially when I needed to come back to grab a few things I left behind after check-out. We also appreciated the private dock box, which had nice camping chairs for sitting by the water and floats for swimming. The condo was cozy, with plenty of blankets to keep things comfortable. We hope to be back again!
