Very safe and clean neighborhood. About 1.5 blocks to streetcar stop. Great ice cream parlor, bakery, and restaurant basically under the unit. Small market a few hundred feet away and an amazing cheese shop down the block. CVS directly across the street. 15-20 minute drive to almost anywhere in the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Historic Cottage+Courtyard - Close to Everything!

The house surpassed the photos, the house is truly beautiful. It was spacious and well appointed. It was close to all the restaurants of Magazine and I enjoyed my short work every morning to get breakfast at District and coffee at PJ's. The neighborhood was all that is great about New Orleans with beautiful houses, new and old, and some mixed use properties that enlivened the area. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, I recommend this property whole heartedly. Alice and Scott are fantastic hosts. Thank you!!

This home was perfect for our family of 4 while visiting NOLA! We appreciated the large beds and spacious rooms, as well as relaxing on the porch. There was ample street parking and the location is close to everything. Our hosts were very kind and we would definitely stay here again!

Uptown Creole Bungalow, Perfect Central Location!

My wife and I along with our son and his partner stayed at Nicki’s for 8 days. We all loved the tastefully renovated heritage house which was well appointed and well-stocked with essentials. The area Nicki’s house is located in is also great. It’s a short walk to coffee shops, a bakery and several bars as well an up-market supermarket about 20 minutes walk away. Nicki was always quick to respond to a couple of questions and requests. Highly recommend!

We flew down from Illinois to celebrate my brother’s birthday. The house and location were great! The boys fished off the dock and took the kayak and paddle boat out. We all enjoyed sitting on the back porch. Brooke’s place was very clean and we all adored the decorations! We will definitely be planning another trip!

We had a great stay in New Orleans. The house was in a convenient location. Close to restaurants and bars. Public transportation was easy to navigate and driving to the French Quarter was easy when we chose to do that. Great house and great hosts.

Our stay was really great! Our family came back home to Houma for Easter weekend and we had a blast! Our family came over for a good ol crawfish boil on Good Friday and We got a small noise complaint due to music but Morgan was super sweet and simply asked us to turn it down! Her home is lovely and conveniently located near everything you’ll need! This was our second stay here and look forward to future visits to the bayou!

we had a wonderful stay. I hate paying for parking all around New Orleans and magazine st is just a short walk away with tons of great shopping and food options. the house was very beautiful and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. we would definitely book again.

The RV was very pleasant, smell beautiful when we walked in and very clean. Homie and very enjoyable. The neighbors or very pleasant. Felt like a very safe place, and the surroundings was beautiful. If you enjoy the country environment, you would enjoy staying here. They surrounding towns have great food and lots of things to do. Me and my fiance will definitely be back to enjoy some more of the things that we did not have time to do. We had a great time, thank you guys for having such a wonderful place and sharing it with others. God bless you all!!!

Charles was very friendly and always responded quickly. We went down south for a quick fishing trip and it was just what we need for a two night stay. We were very comfortable. We would stay again.

Great Historic Home on Magazine Street

Minnette’s place was wonderful! Just as described! It is close to great shopping, bars and restaurants. It is right on Magazine St. which can be busy but we weren’t affected by noise at all. Easy to get around to all the fun things to do in New Orleans. We had a wonderful time. Minnette was also extremely quick to respond when we had questions.

The perfect spot for a getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had 4 grandchildren ages 5-11 with and they had so much fun. We are a family that likes to go fishing and really enjoyed going to Elmer's Island, surf fishing and spending time on the beach. We went pier fishing in the evenings and caught a lot of fish. The grandchildren had a blast crab fishing and we caught enough to have a crab boil. Everything was at the house that we needed to accomplish this. Thank you for a great vacation at Grand Isle!
