We had a wonderful family visit and slept 9 family members. There was a hidden kids dress up corner in one of the bedrooms that was a great surprise. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The heated floors in the bathroom were also great. The hot tub and sauna by the lake were wonderful to spend late nights at watching the perfectly dark skies. We will be coming back again.

Schon beim Betreten des Hauses haben wir gespürt, wie viel Liebe und Sorgfalt ihr in jedes Detail gesteckt habt, ohne diese wäre es nur halb so schön gewesen. Das Haus ist nicht nur geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch perfekt ausgestattet, sodass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Die warme, gemütliche Atmosphäre hat uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlen lassen, ein wahres Wintermärchen. Und ein Highlight waren die Polarlichter. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft: verschneite Landschaften, absolute Ruhe und dennoch perfekt gelegen für Ausflüge in die Natur oder nach Rovaniemi. Wir konnten uns keinen besseren Ort vorstellen, um Lappland zu erleben. Danke für eure Gastfreundschaft und all die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, die unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht haben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! 💝✨

La casa è bella spaziosa ben organizzata calda e accogliente perfetta per famiglie numerose o gruppi di amici sauna piacevole coccola Unico consiglio solo una doccia non è sufficiente per tante persone sarebbe perfetto se i proprietari riuscissero a ricavare uno spazio per un'altra doccia magari in una delle stanze chiuse dove è scritto privato

We loved our stay at the cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was great to have during our stay! We loved staying a bit further outside of Rovaniemi city center so that we could really get to experience more of the natural wonders that Lapland has to offer. We wish we would have been aware of the smaller hot water tank before booking. This was not a problem this trip but if we were traveling with family and cooking we can see where the limited hot water tank size could be a problem. Overall, we would book this cabin again!

Emppu was a fantastic host! For starters, the house is typically equipped with one full bed. I advised him that my son was coming with me and that I would need more than one bed. He rearranged the room brought in a second mattress and it was perfect. I had hired a car service to pick us up at the airport and advised him what time we would be there and he offered to pick us up at the airport which he did and he also brought us back to the airport when it was time for us to go. He knew this was the first time in many generations that my family has gone back to Finland as we are Finnish. He knew how important and special this trip was for my son and I and he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we need often a ride so we wouldn’t have to take Ubers and gave us wonderful recommendations. I cannot say enough about how kind he was and made the trip with my son very memorable! When I go back to Finland with more of my family. I will definitely be staying with him again.

Amazing Stay with an Exceptional Host! My stay at place was absolutely fantastic! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a perfect visit. The attention to detail truly stood out, from the thoughtful amenities to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and provided excellent recommendations for local spots to explore. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better host or accommodation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting and I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area! WOW! This place is stunning in winter. The snow, the surrounds, the frozen river/lake, the cute lights and the house itself is magical. The big snow bunny and squirels in the backyard and..... We had the most amazing northern lights right in the backyard. We had 8 people stay and plenty of room. Such a beautiful home. Lauri, is so nice and friendly and easy to talk to. We rented the space as we were getting married and the back drop of the property for the first look was stunning and so much room for the bride and every to get ready. Stunning home. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. We got a Bolt from the city ( €65 each way ) as we did not want to hire a car. We stocked up on food and drink at the supermarket before setting off. The Cabin is truly wonderful, so peaceful with beautiful views. I knew we would have a composting toilet, however there is a very clean flushable toilet only a 3 minute walk away. I thought I would miss having a shower, but found the Finnish way of bathing in the Sauna to be enjoyable. We saw the Northern Lights both nights, dipped in the ice hole, poached in the hot tub, went for lovely walks ( and used the snow shoes! ) The bed was so comfortable we had great nights sleep. I would recommend this cabin to all. We loved it and would come back again in a heartbeat.
