We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful lake home over the weekend and it was nothing short of amazing! The house itself is stunning with breathtaking views and thoughtful decor that leave a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The host truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay possible. Every detail was taken care of. From the welcoming touches to the prompt communication, we felt right at home. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque escape. We can’t wait to return!

If you are looking for beautiful views in a peaceful area, this cabin is your spot! We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this house to everyone. We felt very much at home as it had everything we needed during our stay. The swim spa was an added bonus but the hot tub was our favorite overlooking the lake. Jessica was a responsive and wonderful host! Can’t wait to go back when it’s warmer so we can float in the lake.

Very nice home. New, Clean , beautiful, and convenient. It’s a new road, so an older GPS may have trouble locating it. The kitchen had all the utensils we wanted for cooking, but wasn’t cluttered One or two basics were missing but the host dropped them off a few minutes after we messaged. Much appreciated! The upstairs was warmer than downstairs, and for our short stay we didn’t try to fix that. For a longer stay I’d ask the host how to adjust zone settings for the air conditioning In the town of Cookeville itself we found fun activities for the kids: outdoor parks, trampoline park, ymca nearby Very nice overall and we’d be happy to stay again!

We had a great stay and this place was spotless. We were extremely satisfied. Great view of the gold course and all the things we needed in a home.

We had an amazing time with our family and friends before they head back to college/work. Our boat is at Hurricane Marina and the drive there was less than 15 minutes- which was very nice! We enjoyed playing pool and games. House had everything you needed and was clean and comfortable! We highly recommend this place and Michelle was super responsive! Thank you for sharing!

This is a quaint, clean home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could've stay longer. The home is nothing fancy but is nicely decorated and you feel right at home. It was very convenient for our event at Leeric Lodge, getting to Baxter and Cookeville and local hiking. We did not cook in the kitchen, but it seemed to have the essentials needed. Beds were comfortable and linens and towels are nice. It is in a wooded location, so guests need to be aware of uneven ground and tree stumps which could be a mobility issue for some guests. It's quiet and plenty of wildlife around. Breanna gave good communication and got back with us immediately when we had questions. Wifi and TVs worked fine even in the stormy weather. It does have a small water heater so if more than two guests shower after each other you may run out of hot water. For us, that was not a problem. Overall, we certainly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate staying there again.

Love staying here! Been here 3 or 4 times and the house is always clean and tidy. Dawn is very responsive, check in / out is very easy. The setting is awesome - love the creek out back and being out in the country. Home is very welcoming and set up very nicely. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was just as described. A peaceful haven tucked in the woods. The instructions given to us for the road to the house was spot on please heed that warning. The road is a one car road and would be advised to have 4WD or mid size car. But it is so worth it. Just amazing!

"Janet’s home was absolutely beautiful! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt an immediate sense of comfort and warmth—truly a home away from home. The space was spotless and inviting, and it was clear that Janet had thoughtfully provided everything we could possibly need during our stay. The surrounding area was breathtakingly peaceful, and we spent some lovely time on the deck, enjoying a BBQ while chatting with the cows and various wildlife. The sounds of nature were so calming. We were in town to visit my Auntie, who has been homebound for months but was finally feeling up for some visitors. She was able to spend the day with us and felt so relaxed and at ease—she even said it was like a mini vacation for her! Janet had provided a detailed list of local suggestions, from things to see to where to eat and drink. We were especially excited to try Ralph’s Doughnuts, which were absolutely delicious! My Auntie was thrilled

Their house was in a remote area which is what my wife and I wanted. Quiet and away from city life. It had beautiful scenery and waterfalls within short drives. Really enjoyed the fire out and WiFi was great. Would love to stay again later in the fall when leaves are changing more

Loved the place. Spacious clean. Beautiful location. Great amenities. Only a couple nitpicks, curtains would do wonders in a couple of the rooms but the big windows make it understandable that there arent any. Also the garbage disposal for the large sink does not work. Overall pretty amazing place

The house was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. It had the feel of staying in a relative's home. The host responded quickly when I had questions about kitchen supplies (before arrival). The biggest problem with the house was that as book lovers, we spent way too much time perusing the book shelves!

Beautiful location on Center Lake. The house was perfect. Very comfortable and plenty of space for 6 adults. Comfortable beds, quiet location, and a well-stocked kitchen. I wish we were able to fully enjoy our stay, but we were in town for a wedding so it was a quick in and out. On top of that, mother nature was not cooperating. We did not have too much free time, but we did get to Burgess Falls which was suggested by Michael. I would highly recommend Michael's home. Ideal for a family vacation.

The red house on mountain top road is a great place to stay in cookeville. It is centrally located and about 10 minutes from any part of the town. This was the perfect stay for our little college get together with our friends. We loved everything about our stay, but the best parts were the hot tub (best one I’ve ever seen!) the master shower, and the indoor outdoor fireplace. It was so awesome to be able to turn it on and fight the cold both in the living space after the hot tub and out on the porch while we were hanging out. The view from the back porch was also amazing with the empty winter trees.

The perfect relaxing getaway. My group of 12 stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights and enjoyed every second of it. Incredibly quiet with great views of Center Hill Lake and the surrounding mountains. Also, the path to the water’s edge is a HUGE amenity that very few other rentals in the area offer. The host was very responsive to every question I had and the check-in and check-out processes were easy to follow. The gravel driveway down to the house is definitely steep, but we had no issues getting up or down with multiple different types of vehicles, including FWD sedans. Take it slow while going down, and get some speed going up. I definitely will be coming back to Center Hill Lake in the future, and hope to stay here again.

Our family visit was just what we expected…laid back, restful and sometimes loud and hectic. The house was beautiful and the view even better. The weather didn’t cooperate for us to explore the area much but I see a future visit to do just that. Seems like there is lots to see and do close by. The house was well equipped and my family loved the downstairs game room. Our hosts were quick to respond and left great recommendations for dining and attractions. We shopped a bit downtown and met such friendly people. So glad we found this place by chance. Hope to come back soon.

We had a great weekend at Marshall’s place! I was especially pleased with the kitchen. We’ve stayed places where there weren’t enough plates and only a few utensils, and this kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner! The setting of the cabin was beautiful and it was very peaceful. It’s tricky to find the place by using the GPS but Marshall sent really helpful directions. Follow those!! The cabin was clean and comfortable throughout. Highly recommend!

I booked Karen’s place as a last-minute stay for a family member who was coming to visit us from out of town. Unbeknownst to me, the same family member had already booked alternative accommodations. When I discovered the issue, Karen was super helpful in working with us to try to resolve it. She’s very communicative and friendly. Highly recommended.

From start to finish Alexa was so helpful, friendly and walked us through everything. The cozy cottage was so adorable and looked just like the pictures. I would definitely book again when I go back to Cookeville, TN.
