Staying in Davey John's house was amazing, everything you need in a holiday home at your finger tips. I needed to contact the owner (Shane) couple of times and the communication was second to none, very prompt. The location is great for exploring Donegal, loads to beaches nearby and restaurants within a short drive away. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to relax (in the hot tub and newly installed sauna) or an active hiking/walking break. Thank you Shane.

We had a lovely stay at Dolores's Cottage No. 1. We were made to feel right at home by Dolores who showed us how everything worked & gave great recommendations for places to eat/visit. She is a fabulous host - so friendly, responsive and kind. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub is an excellent addition too - it is huge and very well maintained. The playground is another big plus & was a big hit with our 2 year old. Location wise - there are multiple beaches a short drive away & it's only a few minutes drive to the local Lidl and nearby restaurants in Milford.

2nd time staying at Ryan’ and Olivia’s place. As beautiful as the first time with an added hot tub and outdoor dining area, and kids swings 😍 Our kids loved every second. I’m sure this won’t be our last visit. Thank you so much ❤️

Beautifully located lakeside property. Spacious private outside area with hot tub, fire pit with amazing views over the lake. Good layout with good sized living space for 6 people. 3 good sized double rooms & en suite or bathroom next to each. Beds very comfortable. The mezzanine bedroom has screen for privacy & we took portable black out blinds which worked well, however a sleep mask is provided. Well equipped kitchen for self catering & second fridge in the utility room for drinks. Nice bottle of bubbles on arrival. Great host. Super location for exploring with easy access to many beaches & local towns. Great pub close by.

Joe was awesome & such a pleasure for us to deal with! He made the stay a lot more relaxing & got us a taxi for dinner, couldn’t recommend Joe & his lodge enough!! We will definitely be back

beautiful, quiet location, exceptionally clean, comfortable house. the welcome basket was a brilliant touch especially the Easter eggs for our girls and treats for the dog 😁 Dee and Paul has thought of everything e.g. miniature toiletries and outside play area for the children (tho we didn't get the weather for it) we would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a stay in Donegal

Ronnie's place great, efficient and fast to go in and out, loads of space and was warm! the balcony with the view on river was great bonus. Would come back and recommend

We’ve been raving about our stay here since getting home. What a home away from home. Such a treat having the wood burner, it kept us toasty and the heating switched off during our stay. The beds were super comfortable, and as a couple who have different preferences on mattress firmness, we were both happy! The games room was a huge bonus, and the outside play areas would have been amazing if the weather was a bit better for us! Such a peaceful stay and the hosts are lovely and friendly, and always happy to help if you need anything. Thank you so much for having us!!

This is a fantastic place to stay. Great for peace and quiet with stunning views of mountains and sea. Very close to lots of places to visit in Donegal. Brian and Siobhan are ideal hosts. They had lots of good recommendations for a range of activities and places to eat. The house has everything and very comfortable. We’d be delighted to go back again and highly recommend it.

If your looking for the Irish experience Cecil’s cottage is the perfect setting, remote but all you need within a 5 min drive…. Unfortunately we weren’t blessed with the weather but we soon forgot about that when we arrived to a roaring peat stove and a view that you could never tire off… Communication with the family was very prompt and helpful…. If we plan to be in Buncrana in the future, Cecil’s cottage is where we will be….. Thanks to all the family….👏🏻👏🏻

Lovely cottage , stunning views all around , very close to amazing beach and lots of viewpoints. Wee shop just couple of mins drive with most essentials and there is a bar with nice food just 7 mins down the road . Great place If you are looking to switch off and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Downings is one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, and Daisy cottage is the perfect base to explore it. The cottage is so cosy. There's a kitchen/sitting room where all the family can be together in front of the fire, there's also an extra sitting room if someone wants some peace and quiet! The beds were so comfortable, bathrooms clean and the kitchen had everything you would need for a family. The outside area makes it, there's a gorgeous private garden where kids or dogs are really safe. There are lots of little sun traps with seating areas for a morning coffee or evening bbq. We enjoyed Daisy cottage so much and can't wait to go back!

We have just left Brian and Carol’s beautiful home . We had a really terrific stay. Communication was timed perfectly before our arrival and was very clear about entry and use of facilities . The house was so well equipped and the additional little extras just made our stay . The children were delighted with Alexa and Netflix ! The binoculars provided for viewing wildlife in the bay went down a treat too! There was dishwasher tablets, detergent, teabags, coffee , additional towels , hairdryer , hoover , washing machine and tumble dryer , clothesline (with pegs!) , coal and starter log for the fire, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower , literally too many extras to list . And everything was labelled !!! ❤️ The house had real character , loved the quaint furnishings and wooden ceiling beams. We stupidly locked ourselves out and Brian very quickly got back to us 😣. The effort this couple has made to ensure guests comfort and enjoyment is phenomenal ! 🙏 THANK YOU

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour chez Gladys. Nous ne l'avons pas rencontré, mais elle est très disponible et réactive. De plus, son pain à la guiness de bienvenue est excellent. Sa maison est très cosy, avec une décoration très portée sur les abeilles :-). Nous avons du mettre du chauffage car il faisait frais et il marchait très bien. Il manque quelques ustensiles dans la cuisine, comme la machine à café (indispensable pour les français !). La maison jouxte effectivement une route passante mais cela se calme la nuit et cela ne nous a pas trop dérangé. Attention cependant en s'engageant sur la route car la visibilité est réduite !

I had a lovely stay at this traditional Irish cottage. It was impeccably clean, and John provided everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The cottage has a cosy, authentic feel, perfect for those looking for a quiet fireside retreat. While the interior is on darker side, this adds to its charm and old-world character. A great choice for anyone who appreciates a traditional setting and a peaceful atmosphere in beautiful Inisowen.

Had a lovely stay in Karen's cottage, place was immaculate and Karen was very gracious and friendly and kept us right on where to go and the best places to visit which was really appreciated. Karen also left us some snacks for our arrival which was again greatly appreciated and a very nice touch! The cottage was nice and cosy and the bed was also very comfortable ( didn't want to get up!) All in all a great place to stay and we will definitely come back here ☺️ thanks for having us!

We stayed for two nights in this beautiful cottage. Cosy, warm and pet friendly. The cottage comes equipped with absolutely everything you might need and then some. I would definitely consider coming back for a longer time on a writing retreat. Our only regret is that we didn't read the guest information folder that the hosts prepared from cover to cover on day one. It contains a wealth of information about the cottage, things to do in the surrounding area, and that fantastic bread recipe! Thanks again Siobhan for such a memorable stay.

Beautiful, charming and peaceful! It was like stepping back in time staying at Robert’s cottage but it was exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended, if what you’re looking for is time away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world!

We had a wonderful three night break over Easter at Lawrence's cottage. Very clean and tidy and self check-in was a breeze. Our three kids also felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed the ferry crossing. Location is superb for a peaceful getaway with Moville to the south and Stroove beach to the north. Will be back again to explore more of the Inishowen peninsula.

5 of us stayed here with 2 dogs and we had the best time. Everyone loved it. Great location with amazing views. Josephine was really helpful and provided lots of suggestions for us and was really responsive. The place was spotless. We didn’t want to leave!
