A picturesque hotel nestled in the centre of Snowdonia National Park, Gwesty Cobdens is over 200 years old. We are currently engaged in the process of restoration and renovation work to return Gwesty Cobdens to its former glory as a premium example of a Victorian country hotel. During this ongoing renovation work we have a few en-suite rooms available.

The newly refurbished family room at the George and Dragon Place in Chester offers a comfortable stay for up to three guests. Spanning approximately 215 square feet (20 square meters), the room features one double bed and one single bed, accommodating both adults and children. Amenities include a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle for tea and coffee. We offer 9 modern en suite rooms which we can arrange as a double or a twin for you, each has its own front door leading onto a courtyard where you can park your car free of charge. Pets are also welcome during your stay with a pet charge of £10 per stay. We are ideally situated for Chester city centre, Chester Zoo and the McArthur Glen Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village each only being 10 minutes away. North Wales and the Wirral Peninsula are also on our doorstep.

Room 2 Dyfrdwy 1 double room sleeps 2 people. We are situated near to the A5 in the Dee Valley with views overlooking the River Dee and the Llangollen steam railway . Sleep soundly on our Egyptian cotton sheets and wake up to the views of the Dee Valley. Ideal location for exploring Llangollen, Snowdonia and Dee Valley. Great walks,hiking, fishing, kayaking, clay pigeon shooting and white water rafting nearby. Lunch and evening meals also served daily.
