Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. There are two living areas with an open hallway leading onto a large decking area. The main bedroom captures the seaviews while the two other double bedrooms are bright and light. This is a classic kiwi crib with a spectacular outlook of the sea. It is not uncommon to view dolphins swimming by. The crib is 25 metres (across the road) from the beach. Walking, biking, swimming, surfing, and kayaking are popular activities. Spacious living area plus a covered patio for evening dining with a Weber BBQ capturing west sun plus a covered veranda to the east for morning sun and sea views make the crib an ideal holiday place. 4 bedrooms with 7 beds make up the sleeping spaces.

It is so quiet all you can hear are the cows mooing, birds singing, and waves crashing in the distance. Visitors always comment on waking up to birdsong. The house has two toilets. It is fully insulated and very warm and fully modernised interior with all the country charm and character intact.
