We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! A great stay at this lovely, cozy home—yet again! Already looking forward to returning in July. The house was an amazing location! We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises & sunsets while grilling dinners in the evenings! The house was very clean and Robert was a great host. I mess him to ask if there was an axe on site. He responded that there wasn’t but that he would get firewood for us the next morning. It was so awesome to sit around the fire at night and hear the loons calling. It was very relaxing. We had to travel at least an hour to do the site seeing we wanted to do but we expected that. Overall was great and I’d recommend the house to others!!

My cousin and I spent a week at holly's house. We made our day trips from there. All the sights were easily and quickly accessible by car from there. Whether in the north, south, east or west of Maine. We enjoyed spending our evenings in a fully equipped house. From check-in to check-out, everything was uncomplicated. We really enjoyed our time there.

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

This was a really nice house on a beautiful lake. The beds were comfortable and there were enough to accommodate us. It was very clean and easy to enjoy your stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place was a great location, we stayed here for a concert at Bangor Waterfront. We loved the amenities and the fire place. The beds were extremely comfortable. Would recommend!!

This was our first stay in an Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations! The apartment was exactly as described and included everything necessary to make it the perfect “home away from home”! It is in a great location with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and Wilson Lake all within walking distance. Debi was a great host. She kept in contact with us before and during our stay, and quickly responded to all questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Cute place to stay when we needed to crash somewhat close to the ski mountain. The only hard part was finding the apartment door since the apartment is over a bar, but once we did everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay. Pat was very responsive and helpful, the place was comfortable, quiet and perfectly located. It was easy to come and go and the island is idyllic. We loved our first visit to Maine!

This is a great place to stay, even better than it appears in the photos. It was not just clean, it was immaculate - and for an extremely observant nurse - that was awesome. The unit had easy access with a slight gradient path and only two steps - which was very helpful for us as seniors. The firm bed was very comfortable. Barbara was responsive and thought of everything, including having delicious specialty coffee for us - Thanks. She even had a cooler in the closet for us to use when we went to Acadia National Park. Like I said, she truly thought of everything. If we return to this area of Maine, we would love to stay again. We enjoyed our stay.

This property was awesome we were all very happy with the location, amenities, price and host. Hillary was polite and very helpful. This trip almost didn’t happen as our previous reservation was canceled 12 hours before check in from a different host. Luckily Hillary saved the week with her quick response time and answering questions about sleeping situations etc. would stay here again in a heart beat highly recommend!

Kurt and Jackiee were incredibly helpful and friendly. We loved staying at their cozy little cottage that had great views of the nearby lake! Would recommend to others looking to stay in a more secluded area that is still a good distance from Acadia National Park.

This location is absolutely beautiful! The incredible views on this private lot are enough to make it worth it. The cottage has a modern touch, with a rustic outdoor feel. Perfect for a little family getaway. It truly is right on the lake, and has plenty to do in the surrounding towns for food and shopping. Deb is a very communicative host. Highly recommend booking with her and her family on their quaint farm!

We absolutely love staying here! We come back year after year and love the cozy Maine cottage feel to this place. The perfect relaxing vacation and will definitely return for more!!

This is our second stay here and we just love the location. looking out over the river is so relaxing.

I had a wonderful stay here! The inside is clean and cozy! Plus we enjoyed being able to cook over the fire and hang out by the lake. The location is private and peaceful. 35 minutes to the entrance of Acadia but depending on what part of the park you are headed to it can be up to an hour drive. I would stay again!
