“Open 24/7 . A classic, nearly impossible to avoid New Orleans experience. "I need to eat something" is a phrase that one hears in the Quarter as the faithful stumble out of every bar and alley way like Zombies marching towards Verti Marte at 5 in the morning.”

“Central Grocery is famous for the muffuletta sandwich, which is composed of Italian deli meats, Provolone cheese, and olive salad. Be prepared to get your hands greasy from this overloaded sandwich. It’s worth it though for this local favorite! ”

“Historic Napoleon house was first occupied by the mayor of New orleans from 1812-1815 then offered to Napoleon for his home to live in exile (he never made it here). Go order a pimms cup here. This is also a restaurant but we usually just stop in the bar for a drink. Cool atmosphere”

“Not just a store! Matassa's is a part of real New Orleans History! After a day in the Quarter, this is a good place to stop and pick up what you need and then have your Uber or Lyft take you back to the cottage. ”
