You will meet about 50-60 locals doing the printing work with the beautifully carved hand blocks. Your textile tour is the first hand introduction to block printing work and during this experience we will take you through the entire process starting from carving the hand blocks by the local artisan, block printing by the local printers using various blocks and colours, and the washing. By the end of your tour you will have a clear idea of the block printing technique and then you can try your hands upon a small piece of fabric (scarf) using the hand blocks and colours . You can carry this printed sample home as a beautiful souvenir of your own creativity. We are looking forward to hosting you for this unique experience. People in Dharavi are very friendly and welcoming. We will need to know your height so we can arrange a bicycle accordingly​.

We will start by walking you through our organic farm to discover the different plants and trees of the various spices and fruits that we have. If in harvest season, we can show you how we pick spices like pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, turmeric and other things like coffee, coconut, papaya among others. We will also feed our animals such as cows and goats, always with the organic waste from the plants. Then we will move to the house where together with my wife and our little helpers (our daughters), we will show you how to prepare delicious family recipes. We will finish with a feast of our food. You are more than welcome to be part of the food preparation!

In the morning around 9 AM, we will meet at Swami Vivekanand Park in Haridwar. We will start the experience by visiting various places like Chandi Devi Temple by walk, Daksha Mahadev temple, After we will have & enjoying the local foods in Haridwar Market. After lunch will continue to visit ashrams or one can go to Mansa Devi temple by cable car. To complete the experience, in the evening during sunset we will participate in the Maha Aarti (pooja ceremony) which takes place at Har Ki Pauri, the most famous ghat on the banks of the Ganges. Haridwar is the gateway to the four pilgrimages in the Uttarakhand Himalayan region and is located on the foothills of Shivaliks. It is on the banks of River Ganges. The River Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains with Haridwar being the first major town on the plains. Though the Ganges does not lose its rapids completely nevertheless it becomes very quite and calm here. The city acquires a unique charm in the evening when the ghats become breathtakingly beautiful with thousands of Diyas and Marigold floating in the waters of Ganga River. Other things to note Since we will be visiting temples and ashrams, please come prepared to do some light walking throughout the day.

As we trek towards our first fishing spot, we will brush on the safety requirements for this activity as well as you will be introduced to the equipment which will be utilized for the activity. We will fish at the spot until the fish bites decrease and once you are accustomed to the surroundings we will make our way to another hidden spot which is very scenic and breathtaking.
