Castillo
“Prague Castle was most likely founded in around 880 by Prince Bořivoj of the Premyslid Dynasty (Přemyslovci). According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Prague Castle is the largest coherent castle complex in the world, with an area of almost 70,000 m². A UNESCO World Heritage site, it consists of a large-scale composition of palaces and ecclesiastical buildings of various architectural styles, from the remains of Romanesque-style buildings from the 10th century through Gothic modifications of the 14th century. The famous Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik was responsible for extensive renovations in the time of the First Republic (1918-1938). ”

“The most famous bridge in Czech Republic with very rich history. Some tourist attractions are located on the bridge during your walking (e. g. picture painting of your face). In the morning is the best time you can visit :) Breathtaking view to Prague´s castle as well.”

Monumento / Lugar emblemático
“The Astronomical Clock, built in to one side of the Old Town Hall Tower, dates from the 15th century. To fully appreciate the clock's intricate construction, join the crowd in front of the tower to watch the procession of the Twelve Apostles: on the hour, every hour, a small trap door opens and Christ marches out ahead of his disciples, while the skeleton of death tolls the bell to a defiant statue of a Turk. ”

“(Petřínská rozhledna) Petřín Lookout Tower, one of the most prominent landmarks of Prague, was built as part of the Jubilee Exhibition in 1891 as a loose copy inspired by the Eiffel Tower (at a ratio of 1:5). It is 63.5 metres high, and 299 steps lead to its peak, which is at the same altitude as the real Eiffel Tower. The view from its top overlooks not only the whole city, but on a clear day you can see nearly all of Bohemia. ”

Building
“Dancing House (Tančící dům) is set in a fine location by the Vltava River in Prague. Its design is unique, and especially striking in the city centre because it is a modern building surrounded by historic architecture. Dancing House was constructed between 1992-1996. It has daring, curvy outlines, which led its architects Vlado Milunc and the American Frank Owen Gehry to initially name it the "Fred and Ginger Building", after the legendary dance duo. The top floor of Dancing House is the only part of the building open to the public, and is home to one of the city's leading restaurants.”

“In the 10th century, 70 years after the establishment of Prague Castle, a church and fortified trading post were built on a cliff top overlooking the Vltava River, on the heights of Vysehrad. Although not much remains of the castle today, Vysehrad Park none-the-less makes a pleasant excursion out of the hustle and bustle of Prague's city centre. ”

“Welcome to the original American restaurant (or should we say “Diner”), that is located in the centre of Prague near the Old Town Square. Our restaurant is themed with authentic US diner style furniture which is inspired by Chevrolet Bel Air’s armchairs from 1952. Immediately on entrance you will notice the monumental hand-made, 60 piece ceramic columns (mosaic) of James Dean and Marilyn Monroe. These artistic masterpieces took 3 months to create. Let’s go back to the 50s! With jukeboxes, images of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, our staff dressed in retro clothes, good food and music. Read more on the next slider.”
