A lovely easy bushwalk passes through coastal heath and sandstone cliffs with magnificent views up and down the coastline. A detour off this track is Gosangs tunnel (6) which is well worth a look for the adventurous - you crawl through a tunnel to emerge on a shallow ledge to view the the cliffs of Point Perpendicular. This is a great location for spotting migrating whales from around June and July, as they migrate north to winter breeding grounds off Queensland, and from September to November as they return south. A short walk away down a bush path and then some steep rocks leads to the spectacular Mermaids Inlet (7). More spectacular views can be seen from the cliff edge

Superb protected beach an easy flat 20 minute walk through the lovely Beecroft Peninsula bush. Superb for swimming and snorkelling. Definitely one of the hidden gems of the area, highly recommended
