Aspen Meadows Pack Station/ horseback riding.
This pack station is only about 15 minutes from our location, up the mountain on highway 108. This is a no frills place where the whole family can ride for hours or for days. Children must be 6 years old to ride their own horse. Small children can ride and be led around the meadow by a parent.
Best spot for gritty cowboy ambiance. They offer trail rides, and hanging around the horses. Hiking is superb. The restaurant food is mediocre but the ambiance is great. There's also a real cowboy bar.
