If your wanting a challenging Walk...Maungatautri Mountain...return trip 3.5 hours
Or TeKoutu Lake situated in Cambridge stroll around the lake 20 minutes or add on the seven sets of stairs surrounding the Lake.
From the Lake, walk up the set of stairs on your right if you are facing Auckland(carpark), it will lead you up to all the eateries behind MacDonalds loads of Takeaways or sit down restaurants...go back down to the Lake and eat and sit iin the park under the trees.
A must for a great 2.5 hour hike or 40 minute base hike through the Maungatautari Ecological sancutary bird reserve.
