If you never rode a horse before you will feel comfortable with Jo's horses. Even children for the first time will feel safe. Wandering through the valleys of the area is amazing. If you are a seasoned rider Jo will have a special ride for you as well.

The Roman Baths of Julius Caesar is an unusual experience. Although a lot of tourists find there way here this is not a touristy area. If its a hot day it might be busy but plastering clay mud all over your body and swimming in a cave is an unusual experience which is easy to do in this area. Park in the parking lot though to avoid a parking ticket.

This Costa del Sol Golf course, opened in 2006, has been designed by Cabell B. Robinson. A major highlight of the course is its expansiveness, extending over 72 hectares. The fairways are very wide, especially at the landing area, and the greens are fast. Other major attractions include a Jack Nicklaus Academy and practice amenities. The club hosted the World Match Play Championship in 2009, 2011 and 2012.

A favorite restaurant and tops of the list with Trip Advisor this restaurant never ceases to please. Lunch specials are a great way to take the cuisine which mixes Mediterranean with a touch of Asian. Mmmh.

Benahavis is synonymous with food. It has the highest concentration of high class restaurants in the region and draws visitors by the thousand who come simply to savour the cuisine. In spite of this, it has remained remarkably unspoiled, with winding narrow streets ill-suited to the motor car, and a picturesqueness which almost makes it seem like a specially-created film set

Great little café for coffee, ice cream or tapas. Very reasonably priced. Right in the center of the Casares Town.

Sightseeing

Sierra Crestellina (“Crested Range”), granted Protected Natural Site status in 1989, is located in the municipality of Casares. It stands out for its geographical formations: medium-height mountains with an uneven surface, hence the name. Covering an area of 478 hectares, these formations were created by the action of water and weather conditions on the limestone the terrain is composed of. A range of walks allow visitors to enjoy the area’s landscapes; there are a range of difficulty levels which depend on the elevation change of the route. One point of interest is the birds that frequent the site, particularly the carrion birds which can be seen from the los Buitres (“the Vultures”) viewpo

Parks & Nature

The Sierra Bermeja mountain (1.449m) dominates the landscape behind Estepona. There are few places in the world where a mountain reaches this height so close to the sea (10km) You can drive to near the top in under an hour. Take the road (Caratera Genalguacil) (MA-557) signposted Genalguacil from the traffic lights on the Estepona inner bypass (Avda de Andalucia), near the Mercadona supermarket.
