Right in the center of town, at Tahquitz and Palm Canyon, this Starbucks is as high end as they get. Expect a crowd, but the sightseeing is great, the location one of Starbucks best and the service great considering the lines.

Sightseeing
Going up the tram is exhilarating, with a rare but possible Big Horn Sheep sighting, but the real thrill is the pristine beauty of the San Jacinto Mountains at almost 11,000 feed. Hiking, snow shoeing, bird watching and wild animal sighting, the tram experience opens up Palm Springs visitors to the magic of this area. You can be in 100 degree heat one minutes, and then thirty minutes later the climate completely changes to a cooler 85 degrees wit sweeping views of the Coachella Valley and world class hiking.

An hour long drive from Palm Springs up the historic Palms to Pines highway, you will experience the most quaint mountain town known for its jazz, art, and chill ambiance. The locals love living there and it shows in the friendly atmosphere. It's also a foodie town and never unusual to have a local jazz band playing a dinner set.

Indian Canyons has the most impressive collection of homes. Palmer & Krisel, Donald Wexler, and Roy Fey were some of the architects who designed the high-end homes found in this part of South Palm Springs, South of La Verne Way and East of S Palm Canyon Drive. This is where you’ll find the Instagram-famous #ThatPinkDoor but don’t worry because there is no shortage of bright, colorful doors here. Weave in and out of these sprawling streets and you’ll see what I mean.

Directly west of Palm Canyon Drive and west of Monte Vista St, these homes are tucked just underneath the beautiful San Jacinto mountains. The largest Alexander homes were built here and it’s no wonder so many holiday stars had homes in this part of town. In fact, Nat King Cole and Marilyn Monroe lived just a couple doors down from one another! Can you imagine?
This is where you will see the majority of A-frame/Swiss Miss homes. Swoon!
Favorite Street: N Rose Ave. This is the street where the photo of the above A-Frame was taken. Fun fact: Marilyn Monroe’s home may or may not be just across the street ;)

Walking or driving is the best way to get around.

Flip flops and sunscreen!
The home's pool is private and refreshing. BBQ outside not the gas fired grill and enjoy the year round Palm Springs weather. It's hot though so bring plenty of sunscreen, shorts, flip flops and cool beverages!
