Sightseeing

As well as being the set for the first series of Game of thrones, its an area of outstanding and magical beauty. With picnic areas, rivers and four trail walks too choose from it really is a place to spend a lovely afternoon for a walk or full day exploring.

This is an area of outstanding beauty and one of my personal favourite places to visit. It hosts stunning panoramic views of the Mourne Mountains and Dundrum Bay. It also offers a short but uphill walk round the castle grounds, a picnic area and public toilets.

This is another one of our favourite places to visit, it's a very quiet and peaceful area. The walk down too the stone circle is just delightful, the trees and hedges are filled with little gifts to the 'fairies' and spirits that are said to reside there. The stone circle has a wonderful and peaceful feeling that is hard to explain.

Beautiful Manor house and grounds to visit. Usually with many themed days out for all the family to enjoy, from pirates picnics, jazz days, pumpkin picking and much more.
