Hang on the feed bag first thing in the morning at Shady Cove's Breakfast Buffet beginning as early as 6:30 a.m. on weekends. Karaoke on Friday nights and live bands on Saturday nights. Restaurant specialties are Friday night Texas Style Prime Rib and every day All-You-Can-Eat catfish dinners. Dine at their laid back outdoor Tiki Hut, in the restaurant or on the back deck overlooking the water. Full menu available in restaurant and back deck; Tiki Hut's menu is limited.

Mom and Pop Meat +3. Good home cooking at really decent prices. Especially recommend their Reuben sandwich, each with a generous slab of corned beef. They switch up home made pies every day and post them on the board. Lots of locals eat at Keller's. Can't get a better recommendation than that!

Paddle 1/4 mile across the creek, park the kayak at Bledsoe Creek State Park boat ramp and hike on a well-developed trail that runs parallel with the water. Because it's a preserve, you'll probably see lots of deer in the forest.

Besides being a beautiful original building built in 1802 by General James Winchester, Cragfont is listed among the 8 haunted places in Tennessee and also on the national registry of haunted places. Conway Twitty left the house after insisting that things were being thrown at him. There are stories of apparitions being caught on film and video as well.
If you visit Cragfont while staying at Come As You Are Camping, please don't bring the malicious spirits home with you!

There's a soda fountain hamburger restaurant, local artists shops and clothing stores with unique styles and great prices. There's a used bookstore at the end of Main Street, too. If you time it right, an old church rings the bells just as it has for over one hundred years.
