Catalpa Cafe is a small cafe on the outskirts of the national forest with good ole country vibes. Randy is the owner and the only employee and everything is made from scratch. Be patient if he is packed, it’s definitely worth the wait. You may want to call to make sure he’s open 479-292-3292. If he doesn’t answer, leave a message and he will most likely pick up the phone if he’s open. Beautiful scenery driving up Hwy 215 on the way to Catalpa Cafe.

Breathtaking views!!! You cannot ride a SxS into the recreation area and it is a very long walk. I would suggest driving a vehicle.
