This is just as beautiful as Silver Falls and well worth the trip. It takes a little longer to get there, but its worth the drive. There aren't as many trails, but there are no fees to visit.

The most beautiful state park in Oregon, and it's only 15 minutes from Stayton. There are short and long hikes, bike trails, places to play in the water, and waterfalls you can go under. 5$ parking fee or Annual State Park permit.

This is a great place to go fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, or swimming. There isn't a great beach area, but if you are into rope swings, there is a great one. $5 parking fee, and if its a hot day, you need to get there early to get a parking spot.
