Poprad is a district city with all the amenities required. It is 10 minutes from the apartment. It has an airport a major train station which can take you to all the major cities in Slovakia, a bus station as well. It has a nice city centre with plenty of restaurants and night life. A larger and a smaller shopping centre and all the major grocery store brands have at least one store in Poprad. It has a famous aqua park with various size swimming pools with ,hot or pleasantly cool water, wellness, gym, saunas and of course plenty of slides and other attractions for kids. Poprad is a major Slovak town so all the facilities you might need are there

Kezmarok is also a district town in Slovakia and also only 10 minutes from the apartment. There is a castle in town with guided tours a nice city centre with restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlours. All the major grocery store brands also have stores in Kezmarok.

Parking costs in mountain villages are 3-6 €
Expect to pay 3-6 € for parking in public car parks in mountain villages and in starting spots for various treks. The cost depends on the village. The cost is per day. After 5 o'clock in the evening parking is often free and the parking attendants usually start around 7-8 o'clock in the morning. If you come sooner they will just charge you in the evening.
