Confluence Park covers 344 acres and myriad trails wind throughout it. One of the trailheads is mere blocks from our house, so it’s a great way to squeeze in activity after work.

If you want to hike with beautiful views, nothing beats Zion National Park. This may be controversial, but I think Angel’s Landing is overly dangerous and overrated.
Instead, skip it and keep going on the West Rim for a great long hike. The East Rim Trail is shorter but still strenuous and offers amazing views of the park at the end. For a shorter hike with a view, try the Canyon Overlook Trail.
The Narrows are fun but make sure you check the weather for flooding and have the proper equipment. If you’re not used to hiking in a riverbed, a local guide is a great investment.
Finally, don’t overlook Kolob Canyons on the North end of the park. The hikes there are gorgeous and often less a lot less crowded.

Our Happy Place
My family and I have been coming to the Zion/St. George area for twenty years, and in 2021 we realized our dream of owning a home here. When we're not using it, we're delighted to share it with you!
La Verkin in particular is a special little town. It's close to Zion National Park and all the best hiking and biking trails. Our neighborhood is residential and quiet but close to shopping. Confluence Park is just blocks away, so even if you have to work all day you will be able to squeeze in a ride, run, or hike. We hope you enjoy this hidden gem of an area as much as we do!
