Nettuno Street Market I love Market Day in Italy. Each town in Central Italy has their own market, here in Nettuno our market day is Thursdays. The market is just 20 minutes walk from the house So I usually start market day with a cappuccino and cornetto then stroll down the long street that has become the market. The street market takes place every Thursday from 8:00 till 13:00 in viale Ugo la Malfa. It stretches for 2 kilometres and here farmers showcase their amazing products. From fruit and veg to adult and kid clothing you name it; there is always something you need or fancy buying at this colourful market. However, what you will enjoy the most is an authentic Italian experience when visiting this market from haggling for bargains to the tasty street food on offer an experience not to be missed

The beach coincides with the area of the military shooting range and in particular is located within the UTTAT (Territorial Arms Technical Office) and precisely for this management perhaps the sand shore remains a jewel preserved from abusive landfills, illegal activities and wild fishing. So from July 1st, the Ministry of Defense, the Agency of State and the Municipality of Nettuno announce the opening of the site reachable from the parking lot with a "long" walk through a beautiful forest of maple trees, cork holm oaks and centuries-old pines; right between the woods flows the river Astura navigable with small boats available at the arrival of tourists not prepared to walk. Villa Borghese "Villa Borghese is the most popular park in Rome and is considered its green lung. The Villa Borghese Gardens are located on the Pincian Hill, close to Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. The Gardens cover an area of 80 hectares and were developed in 1606 by Cardinal Scipione Borghese, who wanted to turn his former vineyard into the most extensive gardens built in Rome. In the same period, the Cardinal commissioned the building of the Villa Borghese Pinciana to the architect Flaminio Ponzio; today this elegant building houses the Galleria Borghese, The gardens were completely redesigned in the naturalistic English style in XIX century and became a public park in 1903."
