This a local favourite to visit, located in the centre of town. I love walking through the park and checking our the beautiful Begonia House - in bloom mid February to late April. I also love taking my dog Chocolate for a little dip in the fountain. Grab some lunch and have a picnic.

My favourite place to exercise
My friends and I call it The Mount! Not only do cars race around the mount, I use it as part of my exercise regime. Once you reach the top the views are amazing! Well worth the huffing, puffing and sweat! You can walk around the track itself (take care) or use the boardwalk of 1.7km from Griffins Bend to the Bathurst Light Car Club near the exit of Forrest's Elbow. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

Mountain StraightMy friends and I call it The Mount! Not only do cars race around the mount, I use it as part of my exercise regime. Once you reach the top the views are amazing! Well worth the huffing, puffing and sweat! You can walk around the track itself (take care) or use the boardwalk of 1.7km from Griffins Bend to the Bathurst Light Car Club near the exit of Forrest's Elbow. Either way, you won't be disappointed.
