Beach day
Great beach access with bathrooms and showers to rinse after a day at the beach. Walking distance from the apartment
This is a great beach approach because of its convenient location being only a 5 minute walk from the apartment! It’s also right next to some of the best restaurants in beachside Ormond. This approach has bathrooms, outdoor showers to rinse off sand, parking, and a ramp to drive onto the beach. The Birthplace of Speed park is located here, as well.
Ormond Beach Granada Approach
21 Ocean Shore BlvdThis is a great beach approach because of its convenient location being only a 5 minute walk from the apartment! It’s also right next to some of the best restaurants in beachside Ormond. This approach has bathrooms, outdoor showers to rinse off sand, parking, and a ramp to drive onto the beach. The Birthplace of Speed park is located here, as well.
Andy Romano beach park is another great beach access that has everything you need for a great family day at the beach! Parking, picnic tables, outdoor showers, clean bathrooms, and even a jungle gym and splash pad for kiddos are all available here. It’s about a 5-7min drive from the apartment on A1A.

Parking, picnic tables, outdoor showers, clean bathrooms, and even a jungle gym and splash pad for kiddos are all available here. It’s about a 5-7min drive from the apartment on A1A.
Sightseeing
Rockefeller Gardens & Casements park is a great place for a picnic during the day, or seeing the Granada bridge lit up at night. Best times to go here are during Christmas time when the iconic Christmas tree is up in the center of the park lighting it up at night! This is also a great spot for to watch the Fourth of July firework show. Great place to go for a walk or go fishing on the dock beneath the bridge. This park connects to Fortunato park via the pathway under the Granada bridge.

Grind is the inside portion of this venue, and “Kona” is the outdoor tiki bar on the same premises, but the menus are the same. This is a great place to go for live music, tasty appetizers, cocktails, beer, and to enjoy the night air. It can get a bit crowded so I suggest getting there before the evening rush. Valet parking is available. My favorite pizza is the Lamb & Clover Honey pizza!
