Sightseeing

The iconic Hawk's Nest Roadway is 30 miles south of the cabin via NY-97 South. It is gorgeous any time of year, bringing people come from all over the world to traverse it by bike or car. Many car commercials have been filmed here at the Hawk's Nest! NY-97 runs from Hancock, New York to Port Jervis, New York, following the Delaware River. Once a one-lane dirt path, the 1930s saw it double in width and paved it for automobiles. It is a beautiful, peaceful drive, with some points of interest, activities and shops along the way. Watch for deer crossing the road!
