My favorite breakfast place in Bend, especially in the summer when you can sit outside in the grass. The wait can be a bit long on weekends but it's worth it. Recommendations: Smith Rock Benny.

My favorite brewery - great beer, cool atmosphere, lots of outside space, and a huge fire on the patio for cold nights. Great food as well. 8 minutes from my house.

One of our funkiest locales and well worth checking out. Restaurant, 3 bars, Turkish Bath, hotel, firepits, shuffleboard, movie theater where you can order dinner & a beer, and late night Happy Hour.

Our landmark brewery. Gary Fish opened Deschutes in 1986, not knowing he'd be the cornerstone of an industry. It's not as local as it used to be but you still have to stop by for a beer just 'cause.
