Things to do Near Us

Here are just a few things to do near us; Wildlife watching, deer and wild turkey are often in our yard. Hiking, fishing, ATVing, are all very popular here in the forest. Trails are less than 500 feet from us. Tubing, kayaking, the clear springs over in the Branford area. 30 miles from us are over 30 crystal clear springs, perfect for swimming and kayaking and during hte winter, manatee can often be seen in them. Visit Falling Creek, a beautiful area north of Lake City, about 20 miles from the house that has a small playground and a trail that leads to Falling Creek, where water-stained brown by surrounding tree roots, cascades down a riverbed, falling anywhere from 5 to ten feet, depending on the water level at the time.
