Neighborhoods
Rte 47 runs right past Turkey Run State Park and you can also find your way to the charming town of Marshall with its big Arch. Along Rte 47 there are two gas stations- each has a restaurant and camp store, mini mart and Food service and Ice Cream and drinks available. Also Two Canoe outfitters- Sugar Valley and Turkey Run Canoes and Campground are on rte 47- just a mile from US 41 and a mile from the entrance to Turkey Run State Park. Shades State Park is just 15 miles East on Rte 47 too. More wonderful trails to hike and terrific overnight Canoe trips along Sugar Creek. So much to see and do here!
Marshall
Rte 47 runs right past Turkey Run State Park and you can also find your way to the charming town of Marshall with its big Arch. Featuring the old Courthouse square, an Art Gallery, 5 & 10 cent G&M variety Store, five antique malls, a CVS Pharmacy with Red Box movie rentals, Pizza Hut, Subway, Burger King, & Dairy Queen. Family friendly Benjamin’s Restaurant is located 2 blocks E on Route 36 (turn left at Burger King).
Also a neat place with peanut shells on the floor and large stuffed animal trophies all over is the 36 Saloon with patio seating.
Wheelhouse Donuts has a coffee/latte bar and design-your- own-donuts. Serves sandwiches, salads, and wraps. On Sundays, make sure to check out their famous maple frosted donuts with bacon!
There is a cool old Jail House Inn with Wine Bar in the basement. It is on the SE corner of the courthouse square.

We are 5 minutes from Turkey Run State Park. 15 min from Shades State Park, Lake Waveland and Rockville Lake. Raccoon Lake State Recreation Area is less than a 30 minute drive.
We are 10 miles North of the town of Rockville, which has many restaurants, antique shops, boutiques, an art gallery and beautiful historic courthouse.
We are 16 mi S of I-74 with easy access to IL cities like Champaign, Tuscola, Springfield, Bloomington and Peoria.
Just 20 miles S of Rockville is the large college town of Terre Haute. It is on I-70 and I-40 with easy access to all of Southern Indiana and KY.
