Brera is historically the artist neighbourhood of Milan as it hosts the fine art academy and pinacoteca. Great for shopping and having a glass of wine on one of the terraces of the quaint pedestrian streets.

Very typical neighbourhood with canals and plenty of bar and restaurants. Can be a bit crowded at weekends, I prefer it during week days, but it’s a great nightlife spot. It hosts the Antique market every last Sunday of the month.
