The house is ideally located in between Wimbledon Broadway and Village/Common and the vibrant Tooting Broadway, and the beautiful Morden Hall Park, all at a short walk.
The very pretty South Park is at 5 minutes
Even closer, at 1 minute walk from the house a park that is ideal for jogging or a walk, as there’s a very pretty path going all around it.
The local pub and supermarket are just the other side of this park, 5 minutes crossing it. At the closest entrance of this park, 1 minute from the house a delightful small coffee shop, Bonjour Brioche :)
Not many travellers know that Wimbledon is a very busy and vibrant area all year round, although it also offers a more relaxed life style, great outdoor spaces and very good quality air.
While it allows you to be in the very centre of London West End, the City and East End in half hour, through the Northern line from South Wimbledon station, it also offers many interesting and chilled things to do locally.
Very good pubs for brunch, great shopping areas, live music in various pubs, two theaters, two cinemas, a very good farmers market.
Sports are great, besides to tennis (just in front of the tennis Mecca, in the same park there are 10 lawn courts, very accessible), golf, horse riding, hiking, cycling....and the beautiful countryside and woodland of Surrey is very close, at 20 minutes by train.
