This is hands down the best Sushi in Salt Lake City. Great location and atmosphere downtown. Try the Cruncy Ebi and you won't be sorry! You will also be interested to know that the owners are neighbors! 4.5 stars on Yelp (give it 5 for me).

If you love 5 star restaurants with amazing atmosphere there are none better in this area than Log Haven. It is a Salt Lake City institution with history going back 80 years. My home is situated near the mouth of beautiful Millcreek Canyon and Log Haven is a beautiful drive up this wilderness canyon until you arrive at this gem nestled in the mountainside and forest. Get there early and have a cocktail in front of the fire before your reservation. 4.5 stars (I say 5) on Yelp.

I often get an extra everything bagel for my pack if you're the type of skier that doesn't want to take a lunch break and just eat something on the chair.

This is "the" place for a breakfast (or lunch) on the patio in spring and into fall. A Salt Lake City treasure! Be prepared for a wait on a weekend morning in the summer but they have a nice waiting area with good free coffee!

If you are skiing at Brighton or Solitude and want to get a great breakfast before skiing or beers and dinner after in great log cabin atmosphere with an amazing fireplace stop at the Silver Fork Lodge. In the summer it's a local favorite for breakfast on a patio surrounded by wilderness and lot's of hummingbirds! Lot's of great hiking nearby in the summer months.

Neighborhoods
If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. Hiking from the home with no car needed. Many stores and restaurants very close by and access to 6 ski areas (Park City, Deer Valley,Alta, Snowbird,Solitude, Brighton) unparalleled.
East Millcreek and my home is located on what is known as the East Bench. The home is located at the base of Grandeur Peak with beautiful Mount Olmypus just to the south. At 5,020' above sea level this home is situated 1000' above the airport and the views looking over the valley and city lights from the space are magical with some of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. We are also situated between Parley's and Millcreek Canyons for quick access to Park City or the Wasatch Mountain wilderness. If you love a good hike or simply an evening walk you will love it here and won't need a car to access amazing trails.
